The activity of aqua gym with Mr Vinod was excellent and he was very calm, encouraging and supporting and kind. The activity was extremely fun and I learned a lot of things. The bed was very fluffy and the accomodation was very good. Moreover the service was very good.

I sent one night at the hotel,and honestly speaking,the whole experience was lacking in all aspects. The check-in procedure was done very haphzardly,and we had to constantly keep asking for clarifications. Upon check-in we asked about the glass-bottom activity with snorkelling, as it was included in our All-Inclusive Package. The staff member at the reception took our booking and told us to go at the boathouse 10mins prior to the start of the activity which was at 11h20 a.m. The next day,we went there at 11.20 and there was no one there. We waited for 20mins and then,the man told us that the boat will come at 12.00 and told us not to go anywhere and wait there. The boat came at 12.30,and by then we had wasted 1hr just waiting. When I mentioned this issue at the reception, they told me that the water activities were outsourced and if they were late,the hotel can't do anything about it. But how are we supposed to know this when we booked through the hotel? This was included in the package and frankly,it was not very professional the way this was handled! I asked if we could have a late check-out from my room so that we can have time to shower after the glass bottom activity and the receptionist clearly said no,as there already was someone cleaning our room. We hadn't even had time to pack up our things and the lady cleaning our room said not to touch the bed or anything as it was already cleaned! That was a very awful way for us to have an ending to our stay! To add to that, when we went to take our lunch at the Indigo Restaurant, the table we sat at, had bird feces all over and there were birds walking all over the dessert section,even on the cakes! Overall, not a huge selection of food items and drinks and toilet was dirty with used tissue in it upon our arrival.

Had my daughter birthday celebrations.. Staff were very helpful. Special thanks to Mr Antish and Mr Sanjay for their invaluable help.. Highly recommend.. Food was tasty. Snacks served too was very good as well All my guest enjoyed both cozy atmosphere and nice food.. Awaiting for another time.. 👍

Hotel is in a lovely location, right on the beach - the hotel itself was very clean and welcoming, the food varied and always excellent. All of the staff from cleaners through to management were very friendly, attentive and efficient. Special mention to restaurant manager Shaktil, Theeruven, Rave and Kesaven but all restaurant and bar staff were brilliant - well done team

Very good stay. Staff very welcoming and helpful polite. Service very good, food excellent. I recommend Tarisa hotel. Mrs Gokool and family. Will come again soon. Thanks to all staffs specially Mr Sanjay, Mr Shakti and Mr Theeruven. Keep it up.

Hello,went on my second time at Tarisa,and i can say its one of the best place to stay.value for money.kind staffs ,attentive and very helpful.Food was so so sooooo yummy🥰..thanks to the hotel manager Mr Sanjay,Resto manager Mr Shakti and waiter Mr Theeruven.thanks for making this stay pecfect.will definitely come more.keep it up💪

I visited Tarisa as a solo female traveller, for my first solo holiday ever. The manager Sanjay made me feel welcome on arrival and was helpful throughout. When I was unwell for a couple days, I was able to have food and drinks sent to my room and they offered to find me a doctor. I appreciated this a lot! The hotel has lovely rooms and the restaurant staff and cleaners were always helpful and eager to please. However, I was disappointed with the food options and the fact the gym was not open during my stay because this was one reason for choosing this hotel. The hotel has 2 restaurants but you can only eat at the Tandoori restaurant once in your all inclusive package, and the menu doesn’t change if you go again. The dining area and food on display at meal times often had birds near the food which made me worry about hygiene. The food at dinner was a very small selection and it was disappointing to see food that wasn’t eaten being out out for the next meal time. It would be great to have some Mauritian food available to try instead of variations of meat in sauce. It would also be great to serve salads without meat mixed in. On one day I requested grilled fish and chips and it was the best meal of the holiday! Overall, I had a pleasant stay, but as a solo female traveller I felt uncomfortable at times, which unwanted attention, which is a shame. The free use of kayaks and paddleboards were a highlight.

Feel good hotel which gives value for money, perfectly located on Mont Choisy Beach. My husband and I spent a week here all inclusive October 2023. We simply had the best time. The outdoor bar next to the buffet restaurant was beautifully set up for pre dinner drinks with evening entertainment daily. The food was varied and as a buffet you could take as much or little as needed. We found that the all inclusive drinks were limited but we did not find that an issue. The hotel rooms were lovely and cleaned perfectly each day. Sun beds were available around the pool and aqua aerobics sessions offered daily. We found all of the staff were delightful and they pre empted everything you wanted before you even knew you needed it! Taxis and day trips were available from reception but we also used the local buses which leave from the main road around the corner, they were cheap and the drivers/conductors were keen to help you travel around the island.

HAD A REALLY NICE TIME WITH MY FAMILY.. RESTAURANT AND BAR SERVICE WAS REALLY NICE.. SHAKTI AND HIS TEAM WERE EXCELLENT!! SWIMMING POOL WAS QUITE BIG!! THE ONLY NEGATIVE THING WAS THE RECEPTION STAFF!
