One&Only le Saint Geran

What an amazing holiday, our first time in Mauritius for 13 years and first time without children. Le Saint Geran is a fantastic resort for couples and families of all ages. The rooms are spacious, luxurious and have all amenities you would expect for a 5 star plus hotel, we had a Lagoon facing room on ground floor which we would recommend if you like it quieter and more private. The beaches are pristine, white sands, shallow, crystal clear water that is very safe for children. Sun beds are well spread out and the service on the beach was efficient and friendly. Bars and restaurants are varied, the buffet, which in general I’m not fan of was very well ran, 5 star buffet, table service. Steak restaurant, Italian and Asian restaurants were all lovely, special mention to Prime and the team there who were very welcoming, we ate there twice this week. The cocktail bar has a lovely indoor/outdoor seating plan and a great bunch of guys making pretty much any drink you can think of, special mention to Jayvin & Roshan who were great fun and delivered great service throughout. Most importantly- all of the above is to be expected, it’s a premium resort and you pay for that, what makes Le Saint Geran stand out from it’s competition on the island is its people, they were outstanding, friendly, effective, helpful and nothing was ever too much of a hardship. A great Team. Be sure to have the hotel arrange a speed boat trip, Waterfalls, monkeys, dolphins, turtles and island visits was brilliant.

We had an absolutely fabulous holiday at this idyllic resort from the moment we arrived until we left, everything was first class. We were greeted on arrival by our lovely host Ma’in who looked after us all week along with his colleagues Kevin, Mihir and Karishma. The Rooms are spacious, well equipped and really clean. Every evening we dined in a different restaurant with a different theme and all were amazing. We visited Riva adults only pool, leaving the children at the Kids club where there were plenty of activities of interest to keep them occupied Also plenty of activities from the boathouse for adults, water skiing, kayaking with a trip on a glass bottom boat etc There is tennis and padel courts and a shout out to Enzo, tennis coach. Best part was the lovely friendly staff who couldn’t do enough, so kind and polite always, nothing was too much trouble. All in all we had a wonderful family holiday and we would definitely return.
