Out of the 3 cheap motels in that area of Troy, Budget Inn is DEFINITELY the best value for your money. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, the beds are confortable, and overall it's a pretty quiet place. It has a bit of a bad reputation because of it's past but the new management has cleaned it up a lot. Most of the rooms have been renovated and the ones that haven't are currently in the process of being renovated. A lot of the rooms have smart TVs too. I highly recommend this motel to anyone needing a clean confortable and safe place to stay in Troy. I will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Troy. Oh, also they have great weekly rates

With Coved winding down still no continental breakfast or even coffee. Many hotels have figured out ways to offer those and still protect guests. Linens had been cleaned put totally disgusting looking with stains. I suggest that the laundry use bleach for cleaning. Pillows ****** . Would have given 1star but the price was only $50 a night.
