The staff is very polite but we can get better room and facilities with that price in another hotel

23 years later, I went back to the University of Tsukuba where I was a postdoctoral fellow. I knew there was no hotel on campus, so I chose this hotel that was closer to the University of Tsukuba. If you live alone, it's pretty good. The front desk clerk I met was very friendly. Because it was New Year's Day holiday, the hotel restaurant was closed. I had dinner at an almost pure buffet restaurant across the road from the hotel the first day and at the station the next day. Breakfast at Starbucks.

Air conditioners dry out and cause a sore throat.

筑波大学への用事で利用しました。週末には結婚式などでも人があつまるホテルで、古さはありますが、特に問題はありませんでした。宿泊フロアのエレベーター前に電子レンジがあるのも便利でした。
筑波大学までは、つくば駅前まで少し歩いて、そこからバスで、大体30分ほどだったと思います。つくば駅周辺自体、お店や飲食店も多くなく、夜になると本当に何もないです。ホテル周辺には大きな道沿いにチェーン店の飲食店が立ち並んでいますが、コンビニが遠いのが不便でした。
駅まで微妙に距離があるので、1日1往復以上する場合はちょっと面倒です。
