Okay stop for 1 night, it’s definitely basic, working AC, cold water only and a comfortable bed, clean The room had a funny smell, I presume it’s the AC as windows don’t open Very reasonable for the price

Correction.: "First Class Accommodations are available in Waskom, Texas........etc. No accommodations at all are available in Waskom. But nearby in Shreveport to the East.... of course...les than a few miles,at,most. Or Marshall ,Texas,about 20 miles,or so , to the West on Highway 80 or I-20.

On a scale of 1 thru 10, this place would get a 1. And that’s only because of the friendly staff. The room was a disaster from bugs, a live hornet in the bathroom,filthy shower, lousy mattresses, loud noises from other rooms and from the parking lot. And on top of everything else they charge to take two small dogs in for a quick 8 hour stay. Never again!

The motel was freshly and charmingly updated and very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. It was fun to use a real key on the door. Lots of parking ( we had a 24 ft trailer) . There were good areas for walking the dogs, pets were welcome. Restaurants next door and close by. We would stay there again. We were just traveling through

Simple, comfortable room that was super clean (especially cleaner than the usual chain hotels)! The lady at the front desk was really friendly! I loved the retro vibes, including having a real key for the room! I would definitely stay here again when traveling through Tucumcari.

Would you believe it but my first visit was in the summer of 1961.😄 But with your new repaint job looks a whole better than the old one ever did when it was one of the original TraveLodges. Congratulations you deserve and keep up the good work......Just imagine !!!! After all these years.

The Almara Inn is extremely affordable! The rooms are clean and the air conditioning is appreciated. The bathroom has been updated. The flooring is tile planks. The staff was kind and efficient. Don't miss this part of Americana. It is part of the old Route 66.

Retro small room. NO Breakfast.
Very Small motel but we knew that. Just wanted to warn other teavelers. It advertised having a continental breakfast. They did NOT have a breakfast! Very disappointed. Wash cloth had lots of long brown hair on it, so I assume someone used it and the towel was not washed. I used the face towel to wash my face. Bed was very comfortable along with the pillows. TV was really good. They had Ruko along with hulu and other channels. Internet was goid.
