This is an incredible property with world class views across a gorgeous vineyard . The hotel itself has a lovely bar and dinning room in one building with the suites situated in separate buildings with mountain or garden views. We were impressed with the food quality and presentation and unlike some reviews had no issue with service. Other than one employee at the front desk we were more than happy with the friendliness and helpfulness of all staff . Housekeeping is particular great. There were a few issues like outdoor fireplaces were not functioning and water temperature in the showers was hit and miss but the issues we encountered did not impact a terrific stay. We would definitely return .

This was a family trip to celebrate a big birthday. The Vines is in a beautiful location, the resort, the vineyard, the lakes, the mountains are spectacular. Add to this warm hospitality full of personal touches, we had a very pleasurable 4 nights. Our villa was a long walk from the action but the walk was so pleasant we gave up on the golf carts and enjoyed the environment.

We had an incredible stay at the Vines - every moment from arrival to departure was wonderful. The staff was lovely and kind and always willing to help and go the extra mile. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the views were exquisite. Would absolutely return and will recommend to everyone I know for a special stay in the Uco Valley!

This hotel was amazing. We had a two-bedroom, 2.5 bath villa. Gorgeous, huge, so comfortable. There was a hot tub outside and a firepit, as well as a fireplace inside in the living room, where the 4 of us (parents, 21 yr old and 18 yr old) watched a movie one night. The views were outstanding from pretty much every place on the property, including the fantastic gym. The included wine tasting was so much fun and interesting. We did the empanada (and pizza) making class, and had a blast. It was so much food that we took leftovers back to our villa, and had lunch the next day. It was not really a cooking class, as the doughs were already made, but more of an assembly class. And they served us wine (2 bottles?) while we were eating. The staff was so helpful and nice. We loved this place and would definitely recommend it.

The property is definitely showing it’s age. We had multiple rooms and all of them just had a film of dirt on the floors, as though they hadn’t been mopped in months. The stone in the rooms were chipping all over the place. The AC units didn’t work in some of the rooms. We lost power in two of the rooms twice. Overall, it was very disappointing, especially given the extremely high price point. Last time we stayed at Casa de Uco and loved it. We were excited to try the Vines this time, but unfortunately we will be going right back to Casa de Uco next time. (Also, they charge everything in USD-converted at the official rate-so you don’t even get the benefit of the exchange rate. And if you ask to convert that rate to pesos, they do it at the unofficial rate, so there’s no way around getting screwed. That was extremely frustrating.)

The staff at reception were very helpful, the resort is beautiful and all the villas are of a high standard but that’s about it! The staff in the bar area and restaurant need to be trained properly as we had to wait sometimes up to 20 mins to get a drink at the bar and in the restaurant on one occasion 45 mins to order wine/food. One of the nights a wedding party had arrived and this slowed the whole operation down there were people walking through the dining area chatting and taking pictures and I would have thought management would have directed people away from this area to another area were they could chat and take pictures while waiting for their tables to be ready! No one seemed to be in charge that night but we did notice a member of staff sitting with two other people and they got served very quickly!! Also if you are eating their each day the menu is not great it’s the same menu for lunch and dinner and we were offered no specials. They need to train staff and vary the menu and only then it would be 5 Star!

This is all it is advertised to be. Absolutely breathtaking views and outstanding service. From the time you arrived every detail was taken care of. The people that work there were wonderful and very attentive.
