Hanul Ancutei

Hanul Ancutei is a place where I used to go since childhood with family. It's been a few years since my last visit and I was sadly suprized to see that the quality of the place is low. The inside and the terace is noce, but we waited for 80 min for the food on a monday afternoon. The waitresses was really rushed and not at all carrying or attentive. The bread (Turtele) that used to came fresh and hot, now they were cold. Most of the dishes were unavailable, and the quality of the food very low. For desert I ordered papanasi, a desert I always eat it here, and I was very disappointed. The cheese used was not good, the cream was sour and the papans dough very dry.

Food was dry and sour for no reason. They mostly don't have the soups and they rush your order just to get people eating faster. Most plates arrive cold even if they are served fast. Total let down and for sure we won't be visiting anymore even if the place is packed most of the time. We had better food in the gas station from the sandwich shop compared to this.

The food was fine and fast served. Some of us liked it, other didn't. The prices are moderate, not high, not low. The servingbwas good, the waitress nice. Te menu is various and they have also some personal products like wine and conserves. We will come back when we willbe around.
