Der Rindererhof

Another fantistic holiday! We have been visiting Hintertux and Der Rindererhof regularly for years and there is a reason we keep going back... the hotel is brilliant, perfect location, fantastic food, clean comfortable rooms and wonderful service from all of the staff. The spa, children's play room and new gym are an added bonus. The staff couldn't be more helpful and welcoming. Our sons birthday was the day we arrived and there was a lovely cake and table decorations waiting for him at our evening meal 😊 We stayed over Easter and there were a cute little boxes full of treats for everyone on the Sunday morning. Lovely little token gestures that really add a special touch. You get a voucher for the buses which means if there is a bad weather day you can hop on the bus and head down to Mayrhofen for free. We had a super day down there at the pool, definitely worth a visit, and another day in Zell am Ziller, brillaint play/adventure area for children, when there were high winds on the Glacier. The food was excellent, great variety and choice for breakfast and a super evening meal with options for everyone. There was a children's buffet each night and their food was also great (not the nuggets and chips you often find) but lots of options including pasta, chicken, schnitzel, vegetables etc... The rooms are big, clean and comfortable with lovely views of the mountain from the balcony. There has been lots of work & upgrades to the hotel over the past few years and the family rooms are being revamped this summer so we are really looking forward to seeing those again next time. It's a home away from home for us and we will be back again next year. Thank you Andrea, Lara, Elke and all of the team for another brilliant week!

So far the best experience we had in Hintertux. Thank you to all the staff. Room, food, proximity of the glacier.......everythink was perfect. It's been 4 years in a row that we come and we'll be back in 2025 for sure........................

I stayed at Der Rindererhof for a ski week with my husband and friends, who had a health issue during our holiday. I can't praise enough the hotel staff, who were very attentive, helpful and caring. They made sure we had everything we needed, from medical assistance to extra items. They also arranged a special menu for my husband, who had dietary restrictions. The hotel manager even visited us personally to check on his condition and offer his support. The hotel itself is very cozy and comfortable, with spacious rooms, modern amenities and beautiful views of the mountains. The food was delicious, with a variety of dishes and local specialties, a true gourmet experience. The location is perfect, cannot be closer to the ski slopes on the glacier. We had a wonderful time at Der Rindererhof, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the Alps.
