Went to Paper Daisy restaurant to celebrate my daughters 18 bday for lunch, and was so disappointed by the poor level of service by the team. I told them it was my daughters bday today, and they didnt go to the effort to arrange anything for her, when I asked specifically if there was anything they could do to brighten up the occasion. Waitress on duty should be sacked in my view. Truely devasted.

Beautiful place for a mini break. Stunning decor and impeccable attention to detail. Loved dining at Paper Daisy, cocktails by the pool, visiting local area and late check out option.

Beautiful property, friendly professional service, amazing views - everything we expected and Halcyon delivered. We stayed one night on coastal road trip in an ocean view room - not cheap but beautifully appointed rooms a step above a hotel room. Restaurant for breakfast (included) was fantastic with again above standard menu items. Dinner with friends the night before was also excellent as was the wine list!

Every little detail at Halycon was perfect. The staff were so friendly, professional and beautifully presented. A small walk out the front to a divine beach. Rooms were perfectly decorated again with amazing attention to detail. Wonderful restaurant Paper Daisy where we had an excellent dinner and breakfast. We will be back

This is a truly special place. The location is everything that a (grown up) beach holiday in Australia should be. The rooms are thoughtfully and beautifully decorated with nothing forgotten. The food is delicious - all meals, in every way, accompanied by an interesting wine list. More than anything, the team at Halcyon House is second to none. They are thoughtful, kind and welcoming. This is a place which sets the standard for luxury accommodation, and I wish that all hotels were even half as good. I can't wait to go back, and am so grateful that we have discovered such a gem
