This trip makes it worth travelling to Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. Our 5D4N stays was amazing, cosy and location is super convenient to any night markets, shopping mall and even to supermarket etc. 

Thank u to all the staff for making the room with birthday deco and complimentary cakes. 

Only one thing is the noise level especially you booked staying the corner room.  

Overall is excellent!! Including their breakfast 

Will visit again soon !!

We extended our stay at U Chiang Mai for another three nights and we chose a bigger room with windows on two sides. We really enjoyed the excellent breakfast provided . We also tried the foot massage and the afternoon tea both are to our hearts delight.

This is a small boutique hotel. Very far from night life but good place if you are seeking quite without crowds.
Photos are exaggerated, especially the pool, it is very small in reality. Our room was very dusty, we had to request it to be cleaned which hotel quickly did for us.
The staff is nice and helpful.
The breakfast was nice although we suspect due to low season very limited.
Overall it was a nice stay but not for that value. Too expensive.

The neighborhood where the hotel is situated is a relatively calm residential area. Comparing to other areas of the city. So, inside this calm place, you will find 2 floor blocks around lively pool. Totally away from the city crazy vibe. However , just 15 minutes walking and you will reach busy streets full of trade and tourism. The room is big and clean.
