The hotel has a great location. Using the UBcab app, a taxi costs about two or three US dollars to get to the city center. The hotel is located on the 11th to 13th floors, with a shopping mall and two floors of restaurants downstairs. However, most restaurants close around 7 PM, so you'll need to go to nearby restaurants. Although the room is right next to the train tracks, there's no noise from midnight until 6 or 7 AM. Trains don't run frequently outside of these hours, so I, who's sensitive to noise, didn't need the earplugs provided by the hotel. We booked a quad room, which was spacious and beautifully decorated. The two single beds were located in a dead corner of the room, and the comforter was too thick, so the air conditioning wasn't working properly, making it a bit warm! We saw two insects, which was a bit surprising! The air conditioner malfunctioned for two consecutive nights. On the first night, the staff arrived and contacted someone else, and it was back to normal after about ten minutes. On the second night, the air conditioner stopped working again (the screen didn't display the temperature), but it suddenly returned to normal after about ten minutes. I called the staff online, but it suddenly returned to normal. I hope the hotel addresses this issue! We rented for four days and three nights. The room was serviced on the second day, but not on the third. The young male receptionist at the front desk spoke good English and was very polite. He deserves our praise!

Springs Hotel in Ulaanbaatar city is a great option for travelers seeking a laid-back and budget-friendly hotel. The hotel offers basic but clean rooms, providing a comfortable place to rest after a day of exploring the city. It is located in downtown, there are many restaurants, bars, and massage places walking distance. The staff are warm and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. Basic breakfast is also included and not bad considering the price of the hotel compared to others in the area.

Terrible Experience - Overpriced with Hidden Fees I recently stayed at this hotel and had the most disappointing experience. From the moment I arrived, things went downhill. The check-in process was slow, and the staff seemed uninterested in assisting guests. The room was nothing like the pictures online—outdated furniture, a musty smell, and a dirty bathroom with stains on the walls. To top it off, they asked for a $50 deposit upfront, which was not mentioned when I booked the room. It felt like a hidden fee, and they didn’t explain the purpose of it or when I could expect to get it back. After a horrible night of barely any sleep, I was eager to leave, but the deposit process was just another headache. Honestly, I expected much better for the price I paid. Lovely and great first impression of hotel. Location was great and the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast could’ve been better with more selection.It was my first time in Mongolia and I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

It's about a 10-minute walk to the Central Department Store and about a 25-minute walk to Sukhbaatar Square, making it within walking distance while exploring the city. There's a small supermarket on the first floor, making it convenient for buying heavy items like drinks. The room is on the third floor, but there's an elevator. Staff: The staff are all very friendly. They're all women, so they're reliable. They'll even arrange separate rooms for men and women upon reservation, so even solo female guests can stay comfortably. I highly recommend this apartment. One staff member is also always on the same floor, even overnight, so there's no need to worry. The staff speaks English, so socializing is also a breeze. Facilities: There are four shared toilets and showers, so you can use them without any problems. The kitchen is also available, making it convenient for those staying long-term who want to cook their own meals. Thick hotel-quality face towels are provided. Hair dryers are also available. Soap is provided, but you will need to bring your own shampoo and other essentials. This hotel is popular with Korean guests and seems to have few Japanese guests, but it offers a good balance of location, service, and facilities, making it a great choice for Japanese people looking to keep accommodation costs down.

The old hotel is in a good location, with a sense of years, the bathroom facilities are outdated, the air-conditioning plug-in is not easy to use, the hotel yard has a quiet space, and the city center of Ulaanbaatar is rare.

Before coming here, I was a little nervous after reading the reviews, worried that there would be various problems, but now I can say with confidence that this is a hotel that you can stay in with confidence. The price is not high in Ulaanbaatar, and the location is relatively superior. There is a shopping mall under construction across the street, and it is a 20-minute walk from the central city. The hotel also has its own cafe on the first floor, where you can rest for a while. It is more conspicuous from a distance, but it is a bit winding when walking, and it is not so easy to find. There is a sign of a Korean restaurant on the first floor, which is confusing. There are other high-rise buildings near the hotel, but they do not block the view seriously. It is 4km away from the train station, about 40 minutes walk. When we arrived at around 10:30, the hotel was very considerate and checked in in advance. The room is large and refreshing, the bed is soft, there is 24h hot water (not necessarily available in Mongolian hotels), a large bathtub, comfortable towels, and the quality of the shower gel provided is also good. The problem is that there are too few sockets. There are two in the whole room, and one is in the bathroom...not very convenient. One is that there is no room service. Because I only stayed for two nights and communication was inconvenient, I did not ask for cleaning. But overall, it is a good choice for staying in Ulaanbaatar.
