Ulanqab Huaxin Premium Hotel (Jining South Railway Station)

We spent one night at this hotel. The bed was comfortable. It was quiet. The staff was friendly. The location is excellent (right across from the train station). There are quite a few small restaurants nearby. No complaints 👌

Our car got stuck in a river on a rainy night, and the owner rescued us in an SUV! On the rainy night of August 12, 2025, at 12:00 AM, on the way back to our hotel, our car got stuck in a river about 20 kilometers away. Upon learning of this, the owner drove his SUV to rescue us. He dove into the deep riverbed and attached a tow rope (the vehicle was equipped with a professional winch!). Right opposite Jining South Station, there are many hotels nearby. You can choose any one you want to catch the train comfortably the next day. The standard room is not big and relatively clean. I asked for a room far away from the elevator and not close to the road, so I could sleep until I woke up naturally. It’s comfortable. When I asked for directions last night, I ran into Lao Liu You Noodle King, which was introduced by the restaurant owner Guo. It was the best and cheapest place to eat in Ulanqab, Jining in three days.

The room was overall average, without any character or features.
