We went here for the day on the beach relaxing. The place is in a very good position on the beach,there is a nice small pool plenty of space sitting out and right on beach . We had lunch which was very nice beef onion mushroom gorgeous and tomatoes and basil washed down with lion beer. What a lovely relaxing day we had

We stayed in this beautiful hotel for six days in march 2024. Everything was amazing. First of all, the lovely, smiling and helpful staff❤️and then the rooms, the view and the food ,it was fantastic. We had the best holiday ever in this lovely hotel and will definitive come back next year. Miss you all. Connie and Tommy❤️

We have spend five wunderfull days at Cocobay. The Beach is very fine and the staf is helpfull and kind, especialy our roomboy Thushara and the waiters, including Rag who took care of us the two last days. The food in the restaurant is very good and not expensiv. We had a fantastic room with a terrasse and privat pool , overlooking the sea. Hanne og Carsten Denmark

Very nice hotel with its own private beach bay, great sea view rooms and a lovely staff - shoutout to my guys Pilaf, Raj, Rabau(?) and their colleagues who always made sure we feel special! Because I’m not a breakfast guy I can’t say mich about that, but the dinner and the cocktails there were also nice.

What a delightful resort. We were lucky to be upgraded to the Grande Riviera - a gorgeously spacious suite, looking across the bay to Galle Fort. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. (A special thanks to Thushara.) Evening dining was a treat.

The location..the staff at the restaurant, the receptionist were very friendly, My son wanted to use the swimming pool after hours as we checked in late, He was 5 and the receptionist accommodated his request. The selection on the dinning restaurant was amazing and food was great.

A glorious 5 days of relaxation. Beautiful location south of Galle with own private beach. Very comfortable room with our own plunge pool. Attentive and helpful staff, excellent food and a quiet place. Short tuk tuk ride to Galle Fort and all its restaurants, history and culture..highly recommended.

Would we (couple in mid 60's) recommend - 100% YES! Right on the water's edge in a small bay this was one of our favourite hotels on our first visit to beautiful Sri Lanka. Wonderful staff who all take great pride in everything they do. We were genuinely sorry to leave. 5/10 mins walk will take you to lots of surf shops looking for your trade.

This was our 6th hotel in our stay in Sri Lanka and by far the best. We were upgraded to a suite which was amazing with a fantastic view of the clean and private beach. The food was great. We were delighted to have a set menu served to us as we were so sick of buffets! Every single staff member was attentive and friendly with very good English. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff made this hotel. We have stayed in hotels where facilities were great but the staff weren’t friendly or attentive. This really matters. The only criticism I would have are the sun lounges on the beach. They need to be adjustable backs for people to sit and read. And umbrellas would be good too as by the afternoon everyone was crowded under the tree for shade and not spread out along the beach.
