The hotel itself is chic and has a very calm atmosphere. Although it is an old facility, it was a clean hotel. The people who work were also wonderful, with quality and humanity that was incomparable to other luxury hotels. It was a very encouraging trip because I was able to respond to my questions with an answer plus alpha, and I was able to use the limited time effectively.

アプローチからエントランス、ロビー、ダイニング、ライブラリ等、全てがフォトスポットです。部屋(スーペリアツイン)は、木造中心のクラシックかつシンプルな調度(特に木枠窓の開閉に感心)。備品・アメニティ類の質も高く、長期滞在でも快適そうです(但し猫足バスタブのお洒落なハンドシャワーの水漏れは×)。夕食はフレンチのコース一択。敢えてジビエの臭みを残し濃厚なソースを堪能させる伝統的な味でした。大浴場はステンドグラスのある洋風造りでしたが、温泉が無色無臭だったため、若干期待外れか。全体として、スタッフ不足の中サービス水準を維持するため、宿泊人数を制限している模様で(10月下旬の土曜日で十数組でした)、利用する側は極めて快適でした。但し、クラシックホテルの伝統と、これを維持しようとする姿勢に感服しましたが、今回十分満足したため、当面は再訪しなくていいかなというのが、正直な感想です。特に若いスタッフの方が少ないという印象で、新たな(若い)視点から見直してみると、更に魅力的なホテルになると思われました。

泊まる前は、外観からとても期待しておりました。 エレベーターもない施設で、コロナ対策という理由で、荷物は自分で運べとのこと。車からホテルまでは運んでくれて、部屋までは運ばないとは、ただただ、思いから階段で運びたくないという感じに受け取ります。 部屋は、普通。大浴場は、狭くこれと言って入る必要はないと思います。 食事も普通です。 部屋に置いてある、以下にも浄水器で入れましたという水がカラフェに入れられておりました。コロナ対策という割には、こういうのはいいのかなと思いました。 もちろん、ペットボトルの水も置いていませんでしたので、冷蔵庫の水を飲むと200円だか300円だか取られました。 皆さん、雰囲気だけで評価をしていると思います。 一人65,000円、二人で10万円を超えるホテルです。その割には、部屋も高級感がございません。 コロナ対策という名前のもと、経費削減をし、無料の水も置かない姿勢はどうかと思います。（私の中では、場所的にも）高級ホテルが、経費を考えてどうするのでしょうか。 従業員の方は基本的には親切ではあります（それでも荷物すら運んでくれませんが）が、人数が少なすぎます。 これだけのお金を出すなら、他のきちんとしたホテルをお勧めします。 確か日帰り風呂の客も受け入れておりますので、それだけで施設を堪能できると思います。

ホテル背面側のスーペリアツイン216号室に宿泊。 三か月前になってもHPでオープンにならない予約のとりづらさ、長崎空港への送迎サービスはHPアクセス欄になくよくある質問欄に小さく記載、11時チェックアウトで大浴場が9時に閉まるのは早すぎ、木造建築として遮音性に劣るなどの不満がある。がしかしそれ以上に豪華さとは異なる歴史の重さが感じられるクラシックホテルの魅力に圧倒された。 改装しても機能性を追求せず、かたくなに伝統を守るあっぱれとしか言いようがない客室は明らかに好き嫌いが分かれ、時間がゆったりとすぎる感じがしてわが夫婦は気に入った。 夕食のフレンチに朝食のアメリカンは申し分なく美味しかったが、夕食はやはりメニューが欲しい。かけ流しといわれる温泉の良さはいまいちわからなかったが、タイルとステンドグラスが特徴的な大浴場を筆頭に、開放されていたバー、図書室、ビリアード室などのインテリア見学はとても面白く、まさにクラシックホテルの面目躍如か。 朝食後ダイニングでスタッフから説明を受ける僥倖があり、やはりホテルの秘めた魅力を伝えるためにガイドツアーが必要だと思う。空港までの送迎サービスは運転手さんがガイドのように説明してくれて感謝。

クラシックホテルパスポート8ホテル目 東京住みの私からは、とてもハードル高かったけど、ようやく行く事ができました。 アルプスのロッジのような外観 中に入るとレトロな絨毯に心浮き立ちます。 クラシックホテルなので、お部屋は使い勝手がいいとは言えませんが、広々として落ち着きます。 ここは大浴場もあり、いい温泉に浸かってゆっくりできます。この大浴場の建築も素敵です。 夕食はメインダイニングでフレンチ。とても美味しくいただきました。

9つのクラシックホテル巡りの一環で、何とか予約を取ることができて行ってみました。昭和初期に建てられたホテルは、瀟洒なヨーロッパの山荘ホテル風でゆったりとした時間を過ごせました。特に、大仁俱食堂の額の掲げられたダイニングルームでのフレンチの夕食ではメインのフィレステーキがとても美味しく大満足でした。欧風の露天風呂付き温泉大浴場で気持ち良く過ごせました。クラシックホテルのなかでは比較的リーズナブルな価格で宿泊できますので、機会があれば、また行ってみたいと思います。
