Convenient hotel that requires refurbishment
We stayed in order to catch an early morning ferry. As such, it was great that we could charge our electric car overnight. Also, there has been no issue with the ordered breakfast boxes (we had to leave before breakfast was served). All food intolerances were catered for.
The room itself was small and properly cleaned. In addition it was very hot and stuffy. The hotel has no AC in the rooms, thus the only way to cool the room was to open the window. And here things became less ideal. The room was on the ground floor, but the hotel did not offer to open the large window. The small one could be opened, but the mechanism to locked it an semi-open position (to prevent someone from entering from the outside) was broken. In effect we didn't want to keep that window open while asleep. The bed itself was comfortable.
Overall the room was functional, one could even hang up clothes. But various items were either damaged (for example the bin in the bathroom) or showed severe signs of wear and tear. We would strongly suggest to refurbish these rooms or at least notice broken stuff and have it replaced.
The bathroom was clean and the shower had good pressure. In terms of functionality nothing to complain here.
