Cappadocia Estates hotel was a lovely & comfortable hotel in a well-located part of the Cappadocia Region. The staff was very helpful and responsive to any request we had in our 3-day stay. The (free) breakfast was delicious & varied with an abundant variety of Turkish breads, cheeses, meats, salads and yoghurt with fruit toppings. They also cooked eggs & omelets upon request. Our room on the 1st floor was a cave room & fun to stay in. Not at all dark, but very comfortable with decent lighting, a large sitting area and a jacuzzi tub/shower combo. Really, the best part of our stay was the people. We went as a party of six relatives, and one night, as we sat in a public room sharing wine we had bought, the night manager walked by. We invited him in and started talking to him. He was a young guy, but had been there several years already, after his 1-year compulsory military service. The interesting thing was that he had learned all his English skills by interacting with tourists like us. The best thing we did while in the area was to take a dawn balloon ride nearby over the interesting landscape that was full of the “fairy chimneys” so common in the area. The sky was filled with balloons! Treat yourself to a stay there.
