The room facilities are very new and complete, and the whole house intelligent system is really advanced. The curtains, lights, and air conditioners can be controlled by voice or tablet, and the sense of technology is full. The most important thing is that the air in the room is fresh, there is no smell at all, and the heating is also particularly powerful. It is warm and super comfortable as soon as you enter the door in the winter of Urumqi.
The front desk service must be praised! The young ladies smiled enthusiastically, took the initiative to help me upgrade the room type for free, and also sent yogurt. The taste is pure and very good, so intimate. Staying here revealed surprises at every turn, with every detail showcasing the meticulous care you'd expect from a luxury hotel:
1. **A Warm Welcome Surprise:** We were greeted with a fresh fruit platter upon check-in. It wasn't just a token gesture; the fruit was genuinely sweet and instantly melted away our travel fatigue. These 'above-and-beyond' small details truly resonate!
2. **Visibly Spotless and New:** The entire hotel felt new and well-maintained. There was no stale or musty odor in the hallways, and our room was absolutely spotless – tables gleamed, and the carpet felt clean underfoot. The biggest surprise was the towels: fluffy, soft, and subtly scented, completely unlike the rough, low-quality towels often found in budget hotels. Using them felt incredibly reassuring!
3. **'Pillow Freedom' for a Perfect Night's Sleep:** This was my first time encountering pillow options at a small hotel! Beyond the standard pillows, they offered latex pillows which were perfectly firm yet soft, providing excellent neck support. This thoughtful detail surpasses what many larger hotels offer!
4. **An Unexpectedly Varied Breakfast:** I had initially assumed a small hotel's breakfast would be basic, but I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive variety! It offered incredible value for money!
5. **'Thoughtful Training' Reflected in Service:** Every staff member exuded professionalism. The cleaning staff were very polite, and the hotel manager went out of their way to assist us. It's evident the hotel has invested significant effort into staff training.

OONGLLOverall experience was rather good except there was some renovations above 7th floor where we stayed and the knocking sound continued from 3+pm until 7.30pm on Saturday and Sunday especially on Sunday 21/9 until we call the front deck complaining about the noice which make all of us can't rest well after our morning trip. Another thing we would like to say is there are people smoking in the restaurant while others were having breakfast and the staff didn't even stop him. Overall the breakfast served was not that fantastic( mainly Chinese style breakfast ) for Radisson standards ( not sure is really under Radisson). Honestly the bed is super comfortable and big,the view was great too ( we booked 2 double bed room)

Clean, spacious ,comfortable. the room is modern and somewhat looks futuristic. even small details are designed for comfort such as mirror with extra light on it, anti-slip bathroom mat, clear label on lights switch on/off so guest know what button for what lights, automatic night light turn on when guest wake up at night to go to washroom to ensure guest can see the walking path (been travelling for 6.5months and these are items that are almost never seen even in big hotel chain).
the receptionist team are also warm and welcoming. Special thank you to Xiao Xia and Noor who help with my check in and extend my stay.
Reasonable price, even offer discount on 2nd night (different person offer different discount, so i choose the best offer.lol)
This place also close by to many eateries and 4minutes walking to bus stop where multiple buses stop there (i.e.there is bus from airport to here, i.e.take metro and change to bus. the bus will stop here).
Convenient for solo traveller who rely on public transport to explore the surrounding (download 百度 or AMAP application to see route and bus timing in real time.百度is better though).
They are also available a wechat away for any questions or recommendations that you'd like to know.
Delicious breakfast!! Still thinking about it. taste like home cooking style.

MM288991****This is my second stay here, and I'm consistently impressed. The place is spotless, boasting comprehensive and brand-new facilities, which ensures a very comfortable experience. They provide laundry facilities, a water dispenser, and individual lockable lockers for valuables in each room. Rooms are also furnished with tables and chairs and receive daily professional cleaning. Additionally, there's a cozy lounge bar where you can order juices, beers, and snacks, complete with a TV for entertainment.

AAussie NikThis hotel is top quality. Worthy of 5 star standard. Just built in 2024, everything was brand new. Front desk receptionists were all so professional and hospitable. We felt so at home and comfortable that we stayed for 6nights. We were offered an abundant breakfast, evening tea and late supper. We had 70 inch tv with movie channels. There is a complementary laundry room. The Japanese style toilet was a bonus. Bus stop is across the road. Walking distance to Hong Shan Park, Peoples Park, Xinjiang Museum and Saybad Shopping district. Highly recommend any visitors to Urumqi to this wonderful hotel.

SStAnastasiaMy friend and I stayed at the Tianyuan Hangyou Hotel during a layover in Urumqi, and it was the perfect choice for a short stay near the airport. The location is extremely convenient - just ~15 minutes away from the terminal, which made our transit hassle-free. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the airport, which was a great advantage.
Though the hotel could use minor renovations, the price-to-quality ratio is excellent. The room had all the essentials: slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste, a comb, a hairdryer, an electric kettle, cups, and bottled water. The Wi-Fi worked well, which was important for us to plan our day trip and order a taxi.
One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet, which offered a good variety of options. Even if you're not yet accustomed to Chinese cuisine, you can find simple choices like boiled eggs and mantou (steamed buns).
For sightseeing, the city center and main attractions (such as the Xinjiang Museum, Red Hill Park, the Grand Bazaar, and the mosque) are about 30 minutes away by taxi. We managed to explore all of them in a day. Nearby, there are also local markets, convenience stores, and small cafés for snacks and essentials.
Overall, if you need a comfortable, budget-friendly hotel close to Urumqi Airport with good service and decent amenities, Tianyuan Hangyou Hotel is a great option. Highly recommended for transit travelers!

IIcingcandyWe stayed at Urumqi Holiday Inn Express for a quick stop, as we were on our way to the next city in Xinjiang. We must commend the hotel on the late night snack (noodles and wonton/dumplings) provided to guests - even late comers like us.
Ms He at the concierge was particularly helpful, warm and friendly. We felt warmly received by the whole team, with welcoming gifts a platter of fruit and free soft drinks. The team also helped us on our transport to the station the next day, with short notice - we really appreciate it!
We thought the cleanliness and ventilation of our room could be improved, but we were only there for one night so didn’t know the house cleaning team.

GGuest UserI did not have the best stay at this hostel, but it could have been due to unique circumstances.
When i arrived in the middle of the night, the owner(or senior staff idk) was drinking and smoking with his friends in the commons. Whilst I was checking in with another staff member, they discussed among themselves where I could be from based on my appearance. As a young woman traveling alone, I found this moment quite unpleasant.
I had booked the 4 people's dorm. They happened to be no other guests in the dorm that night. It was nice to have the room for myself. However, the room had not been cleaned up. My bed had been made, but on the trash was some trash and laying around. The previous guests had also smoked in the room. They had left their sigarettes floating in a noodle pot and the room stinking. I asked for another room. The tipsy owner first denied the room smelled, till we stood in front of the floating sigarettes. There was no other room available, so i slept there.
By morning, the commons looked like a different hotel. There was a friendly and professional lady at the desk who checked me out. She also kept my luggage for the day, which was very convenient.
For anyone who has never been in Urumuqi before, this is not the city center. The hotel is located in a tower close to Ulumuqi train station. It's convenient if you're hoping on or off the train, but you'll need a taxi to get you to part of the city worth visiting.
Overall, I had a terrible experience, but it's probably not how most travellers would experience this hostel. And, it's quite cheap.

GGuest UserHostel is about 5 - 7 minutes away from the ”Sports Centre” metro station, which is about 25+ minutes from the airport.
The hostel entrance is next to the Tesla shop, and you have to press the buzzer, for the security guard to open the gate for you.
Then, after writing your name down in the guest-book, you go up to the 10th floor in the lift.

The staff speak little to no English, but they are very helpful.
They will try to solve your issues, as long as you patient with the translation software.
Also, it is difficult for staff to check you in, if you do not have a contact number or Alipay/Wechat contact.
(This is a CN Govt requirement)
The dorm rooms are basic and you may get the city views.
There are no privacy curtains and there was no air-con, in my one.
The hostel staff can provide fans, but we did not need any, as it was still cool at night.
The beds are OK.
There is a bathroom in the dorm room too, but there was almost no privacy for the bathroom, as there was a gap between the door for others to see and you can see through the frosted glass into the bathroom too!
The hostel is relatively clean, quiet and well-located,
except there may be other local guests, who are loud and smoke sometimes in the other rooms.
Next to the hostel is a nice up-market shopping centre and with really lots to eat, in the food-court on the 3rd floor.
