The building has a traditional architecture with a vintage vibe. Although it has an acceptable general maintenance some details lower the category. Location is up the montain and like 10 block from downtown, so if you don't rent a car, there are way better options. NO WI-FI in the rooms!!!! Only at common areas. You need it to check the weather, recieve messages from family and coordinate activities during your stay. Beds are good, check if there are queen or twin available. I stayed with my bf and had to sleep in separated beds. The bathroom is old, no other way to describe it. And water comes out making water splashes (no fun on the hot water, turning into ice cold or burning hot. 😱) Front desk employees are mostly kind, but not too much into the guest concerns. The worst: we took 3 extra sandwiches from breakfast service (had to leave for a 5 hour trekking walk really early, with no time to go anywhere else) and it was a bit of an scandal, plus they charge us a value of a whole dinner. Overall a disappointing experience. There are plenty of other options: more modern, better located, and I guess better serverd (since they not set the standar very high in this aspect).

Este hotel debe haber sido una buena opción en la década del 70 u 80 (se ve que se quedó en el tiempo tanto en mantenimiento como en la tecnología). Las habitaciones si bien cómodas y limpias, muy calurosas, TV con 5 canales de aire, mal internet, sin frigobar y baños muy anticuados (el agua caliente tardo unos 10 minutos en salir). El desayuno muy básico. El personal muy amable.

Belle vue sur la baie. Nous sommes arrivés le 16 Nov 2023, dans ce bel hôtel notre petit groupe de 10 personnes seul au monde, et bien chouchouté par le personnel féminin et masculin. Grande et belle salle de restaurant, nappe blanche, et bonne cuisine. Bons repas, et bons petits déjeuners durant notre séjour; Chambre spacieuse, avec vue sur la baie mondialement connue. Ushuaia restera a tout jamais gravé dans mon coeur.

Contrate este hotel porque me facilitaba que tenga Restaurante, para poder cenar temprano, lo cual nunca pudo ser ya que ellos por darle prioridad a un contingente de 90 esquiadores, me asignaron el turno de las 22 hs sin darme la posibilidad de elegir o hacérmelo saber de antemano para irme a otro hotel. No me dieron solución ni una sola noche. La respuesta del dueño fue lo lamento pero no puedo hacer nada. Le contratamos 5 habitaciones, estábamos con niños pequeños y tuvimos que salir a cenar afuera todas las noches. No te cuidan como huésped.

Un desastre . Es un hotel para estudiantes , viaje de egresados de sexto grado máximo . Nos hospedamos en el hotel en vacaciones de invierno (Julio ) pensando en hotel familiar como lo anuncian . Nos encontramos que habían vendido todo el hotel a un contingente de niños . El restaurant q publican no lo pudimos usar nunca ya que la prioridad era de los niños (no tienen restaurant para la capacidad q dicen tener , solo 2 mozos ) el huésped común no tienen derecho a nada ya que es un hotel estudiantil … , el ruido es constante sin ninguna supervisión del hotel . El desayuno extremadamente pobre de todo . Las habitaciones con olor a cloacas y ruidosas . No se me ocurre nada para escribir de positivo . Creo q un cero le queda grande . Ah , tiene estacionamiento, el auto la paso bien .

Me alojé en ese hotel porque fui con un grupo y la agencia contrató este hotel y supongo que es la única forma de que alguien pueda aloj**** en este lugar es porque le dan una coima a las agencias. El hotel no es malo, pero es viejo y queda muy lejos del centro, y arriba de una cuesta y no hay nada cerca, ni un kiosco para comprar un agua mineral, así que para cualquier cosa hay que subir y bajar calles empinadas o tom**** un taxi. El wifi no funciona en las habitaciones. No es un hotel barato y tiene el mismo costo que hoteles en pleno centro con mejor servicio. Así que la relación costo beneficio es mala. No lo recomiendo para nada.

Hice una reserva totalmente paga por $ 96M para los días 20 al 24/03. El día de llegada, es decir el 20/03 les manifesté mi imposibilidad de llegar al hotel por problemas ajenas a mi voluntad, dado que hubo dificultades para pasar a la isla por el estrecho de Magallanes, en Primera Angostura, Chile por vientos fuertes y no daban garantías para pasar. Por esa razón les solicite si me podían devolver el pago efectuado descontado sus gastos o que quede a cuenta para otra oportunidad en fecha a convenir. El hotel me contesta que no hace devoluciones por cancelaciones de reservas, sobre todo cuando la cancelación (anulación) se realiza el mismo día del ingreso. Es precisamente para evitar cancelaciones que pedimos el pago total en forma anticipada. Parece que no tuvieron en cuenta mi correo, actuando como LADRONES, quedándose con mi dinero. Les volví a reclamar y no me contestaron nada. Los denunciaré en Defensa del Consumidor dado que se aprovechan de la gente.
