I am writing the lengthiest review of my life because I had the opportunity to stay in a hotel in my most favorite city of India- Vadodara.
Starting right at the beginning, the lift was stinking. After I went in the room, for nearly 1 hour, no drinking water was provided. After calling the reception, 2 water bottles were sent through a person. This person had the audacity to say that because he was busy, he didn't provide me the water for 1 hour.
There were 2 heating stands kept for 1 electric kettle. However, the electric kettle was not fitting on the stand plugged in. So we had to struggle to plug another stand way below the desk. All the plug points and switches were way below the desk, which made it difficult to reach. The mosquito repellent was empty, so I had to call for a fresh one. The boy who got the mosquito repellent refill just kept it and was walking away without fixing it in the holder. So I told him to fix it, plug it & then go. The room was stinking, so I had to call for a room freshener. The tea & coffee tells had to be ordered. There was stirrer kept. The upholstery of the chair was dirty. The blanket was not properly tucked in on the bed.
Usually, after a long travel, one is looking forward to enjoying a good hot water bath. But unfortunately the bathroom had bad lighting & all the bathroom fixtures were in a bad shape. The bath gel dispenser was tilted. So the bathroom was a big letdown. There was no hand towel & paper roll kept in the bathroom.
The so-called hotel staff was least interested in providing any services to us. The parking area was not at all paved properly, and it was in complete dark.
It looks like the owner of the hotel is least interested in providing good service/rooms to its customers.
