We loved our stay at Hotel Les Montois. Our stay was superbly hosted. Our room was perfectly comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast was excellent. The bean-to-cup coffee machine produces a wide range of lovely drinks. Our cooked-to-order medium soft-boiled eggs were just right. If you are staying in this area, then stay here. We certainly will if we are fortunate enough to go back again. Thank you for looking after us so well.

We were on the road and found this place on short notice. We pulled in and checked into the hotel. This place is not fancy, but the couple running it are dressing it up a bit. We got king bed and breakfast for a very affordable rate. Everything worked as it should and was cleaner than most places we have stayed with more stars. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived, through breakfast, and check out. This is the kind of place I wish we could find more often.

We stayed here on our way to Brittany. It's so convenient, near the motorway but not noisy at all. Eve and Frederick are delightful, they could not have been more helpful, they went out of their way to welcome us and our dog. The room was nice and the bed was so comfortable, breakfast was really good too. They have recently bought the hotel and we wish them lots of luck and look forward to staying here again on our trip.

A lovely couple bought the hotel in 2022, and it was such a lovely experience. They both make you feel right at home! I enjoyed that when I pulled up the owner was gardening and working on the flowers in the front!

I stayed here on my road trip across northern France in June. This was a last minute booking as I needed a place to stay before taking the ferry the next morning. Lots of room and free parking. Eve was amazing to deal with when checking in and ensured I had everything I needed.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful, especially in giving us information for our visit to Mont St. Michel. It was just a few miles and minutes from the Mont and easy to get to. We chose the hot breakfast and it was delicious and filling. We would definitely recommend the hotel.

This hotel has been recently revamped and, although the amenities are fairly basic, everything is clean, fresh and comfortable. The young couple who run the place (and appear to do everything themselves) could not be more helpful. They were even able to identify a shop that was open on a Bank Holiday.

I was travelling into Bretagne and I needed a decent hotel for one night. This hotel was recommended to me by a man who runs a food wagon close to this hotel. At the hotel I was warmly greeted by Eve, the owner of the hotel. I was shown my room and where I’d be eating breakfast the next day. My room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. I loved the style of this old French house; the wooden shutters in my room kept the room very cool despite it being 45° outside. My bed was just as comfortable as my own at home and I slept very peacefully. Fredrick, Eve’s husband, met me later and once again I was made to feel very much at home. I had a couple of beers in the garden, in the shade of a lovely apple tree and it was thoroughly calming. Such a lovely place to be. My breakfast was superb. But beware, the food is great and you will eat too much, especially if Fredrick produces his famous croissant, which is filled with a secret sweet receipt. Eve and Fredrick, thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality and I’m looking forward to seeing you both again soon. John Cummins.
