I couldn’t check-in because my passport was expired by 2 months. I already renewed it but it isn’t ready for pick-up yet. I can renew my padron in Spain, I can travel by train, I can stay at other hotels..just not here. And since this happened the day of my stay, I couldn't get a refund.
I asked to use the restroom and Jonathan, the guy at the reception, escorted me to the cafeteria, claiming that he needed to look for something up there, when he clearly was just making sure I didn’t go to the room, as he asked to talk to me when I walked out of the restroom. Incredibly disrespectful and intrusive. I truly felt discriminated against and harassed for something I had paid for.
I apologize for calling you out, Jonathan, and I understand you’re doing your job, but I asked to talk to your manager and you didn’t call him/her, and I’m most certain your job isn’t to make people feel as bad as I felt.
