This was our second stay at Valla Beach and it will be our last. The park location is amazing - the beach and the inlet are nothing short of beautiful. But that's where it ends. Key Points from our stay: The amenities are outdated and poorly maintained (tap handles in showers falling off, tiles siliconed on, door locks that dont lock without banging them). There seems to be little if any cleaning done and the constant stench of Urine lingers in the air with the facilities. Hand washing Soap was unsupplied for 2 weeks. Waste areas are constantly overflowing with rubbish all over the ground, which doesn't assist with the flies and attracting the local wildlife and vermin for a quick feed. There is no security at all. Visitors from inside and outside the park roam through and party all hours of the day and night and theft is a daily occurrence - make sure all of your equipment and bikes are well chained. The park managers are non-existent - seen once during the stay and only due to an altercation between campers. Planning of the campers within the park is a shambles - multiple people staying on various sites, tents within tents and minor cities are created which are haphazardly placed between caravans and families. This all leads to a breeding ground of animosity and arguments. No one seems to be completing daily checks on the goings on of the park or who is on what site. All in all, beware - this park is an absolute free for all thats frequented by inebriated people and if that's what you're after then have fun here - many likeminded people will not be returning to the park unless major changes are made and some sort of security / screening / management of sites is completed and followed up with the removal of campers who break the easiest of rules.

Location of this park is great! However, we have just spent 3 weeks in the park over new year (returning visitor) on a caravan site and were disgusted and disappointed with the park the second time round. No security is used during peak times which meant other campers ran a muck throughout the camp at all hours on multiple occasions. Theft is prominent in the park. Their bathroom facilities are appalling! They were not cleaned with any chemicals for over 2.5 weeks and a constant stench of urine and faeces, in particular in the ladies bathrooms the sanitary bins were overflowing and not picked up for 2 weeks. Tenting/camping site’s are intermingled with caravan sites and tent ropes strung across caravan sites. The tenting campers had more occupants on those sites than what was booked or allowed. Management was non existent multiple times and when an issue occurred between campers they used threatening tacts of increasing tariffs and not dealing with the issue of removing problematic campers. The pool was disgusting and not maintained as there was a dirt ring around the tile area (as last summer it was well maintained). Camp laundry is a fire hazard and needs to be fix asap! Campers that are regulars to this tourist park make the environment very uncomfortable. There are no facilities or activities organised for children to do during peak period. I would not be returning to this park unless the facilities are fully upgraded, security is put in place and the regular riff raff have been removed!.

This park is truly a hidden gem! The location is ideal for anyone looking to explore the surrounding area, with plenty of options to suit every preference. Whether you want to relax by the pool, enjoy the sandy beach, or take a dip in the deep creek, there's something for everyone. The campsites are spacious and thoughtfully laid out, providing plenty of room to unwind. The amenities are spotless, and it's clear the staff takes pride in maintaining a welcoming environment. Speaking of the staff, they are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to ensure your stay is enjoyable. If you're looking for a versatile and peaceful getaway, this park is a must-visit. Highly recommended! And your four legged friends are welcomed too.

Wonderful large grassy site - plenty of room to fit our boat (on its trailer), as well as our tow vehicle. We used the boat ramp within the park to access our fishing spots each day. Very clean amenities. Very friendly receptionists. Lovely pool area.

Great location, great fun at the Ukulele Camp. My dog Molly loved it, new people & dogs to meet. Highly recommended. Deep Creek is a short walk, then a footbridge to the surf beach. People were catching bream, flathead & whiting from the creek.

The cabins are much older style, nothing flash. However they are clean and accommodate your needs. It is the location that is the drawpoint Setting is beautiful by the lake. Much wildlife to experience lorrakeets, parrots, black cockatooes, kangaroos and 3 very cheeky possums that we found at our door one night standing up like mercats. The walk to surf each is awesome. Staff were friendly and good to deal with.
