My husband stayed in this hotel on September 7th. When he checked in the receptionist said there was a $50 "damage deposit" which would be returned if there was no damage. When he got to the room it was in terrible shape, with light switches broken, ripped lamp shade, etc. He went back to the clerk and insisted she sign a note acknowledging that he didn't damage the room. When he got his credit card statement, they charged him $60 over and above the stated room price. It is now September 17th, and although I have tried endlessly, their corporate office refuses to budge and insists that he didn't show up at the hotel, even though he even has a photo of his room entry card. I scanned their reviews on this site, and almost every single five star review is done by someone with only one actual review. We've seen a lot of crummy hotels but this one takes the cake.
