Love the Granville Island Hotel, ( My fourth visit in 3 years) as I love Granville Island and the market. Saw information showing that they were offering a credit to be applied towards breakfast. When enquiring was told that it was only applicable if I booked directly, and not thru' a booking agency. eg Trip.Com

Granville Island is a great place for its public market, artisan shops and the lovely and convenient water taxis to help get around downtown Vancouver. The Hotel is perfectly located on the north end waterfront.
The room was clean and comfortable although before checkout we saw that the bed skirt had something spilled on it by a prior guest. Also, the bed was uneven, with one side providing good support and the other was soft and led to a bad night’s sleep.
Service at the hotel was good but the server at the restaurant was either inexperienced or a little inept. Another disappointment was that they had a bike rental stand that never had bikes to rent despite promoting it as an option.
All in all, a good stay, but not a great stay. Glad I saved money on trip.com but I’ll look for a different hotel next time.

I made a reservation close to Granville Island, but the schedule was late and I checked out without being able to see the surroundings, so I'm not sure about the hotel. However, I would like to recommend it to travelers who visit Granville Island for a day.

The exceptional staff made our experience over and beyond anything we were expecting. The room was clean and comfortable. The vibe was warm and friendly, but still opulent. The lovely concierge, AJ and Sam, were a pleasure to chat with about family and homelands and they had us sorted in a timely manner.

The hotel is beautiful, located on Granville Island near the amazing market. Easy advance check in by Blessing, the front desk staff. Room was small, however, with only one "office" chair. GREAT shower. Would definitely recommend.
