I stayed here for one night on a 30-day self-driving road trip that included both far northern and southern Laos, to Vat Phou. The vehicle, a four-wheel drive Ford pickup truck was hired from and returned to Luang Prabang. This is a typical It’s a typical Asian budget hotel the likes of which can be found throughout Laos and the region in general. I chose this property because it had parking and was centrally located. The room and bathroom were large, comfortable, and reasonably clean. The air conditioning, hot water, and wi-fi worked well. The bedding, towels, etc. were good. At a walk-in rate of 300,000 LAK, including breakfast I thought that it was a good choice.

The hotel is selling bus ticket, so I bought one. The pick-up was supposed to be at 11:45 am to leave at noon. The bus picked me at 13h10, and I have to wait for the 2 pm bus. No apologies, no explanations, no discount, just a shame. Don't buy your bus ticket here.
