We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, and our experience was really great. The pool view was stunning, and we were amazed to see a hot air balloon land right behind our room! The front desk staff, especially Sou, was very helpful and friendly, making our stay even better. The food was delicious, and we had a good, comfortable sleep. The hotel is also conveniently located—just around a 3-minute drive from the city. Plus, there’s a sky club behind the hotel where you can try paramotoring and other fun activities. Highly recommend this place!

The experience at this hotel is highly dependent on your travel style. I would absolutely recommend it to families and groups seeking excellent amenities like the gorgeous pool and tranquil garden. The staff and owner were exceptionally friendly and helpful; the owner even showed remarkable kindness by not charging me for heavy dirt stains on the towels after a strenuous hike—a testament to their understanding of Vang Vieng's adventurous nature. However, for solo backpackers, the isolated location is challenging. Getting around Vang Vieng requires personal transport, and without a motorbike or license, you become dependent on the hotel's shuttle for every drop-off and pickup to the main town. While the quiet atmosphere is lovely, solo travelers prioritizing convenience and walking access to restaurants and activities would be better served staying closer to the town center. If your goal is relaxation and enjoying top-notch hospitality, this is a perfect retreat.

Mixed Experience – Not Ideal for Solo Travelers I recently stayed at this resort and had a very mixed experience. First, the location is quite inconvenient if you’re planning to visit the main attractions—it’s about a 30-minute walk or you’ll need to spend extra on rides like InDrive. There are no nearby convenience stores either, so plan ahead. The resort seems better suited for large groups rather than solo travelers or couples. There is an onsite restaurant, but the menu is limited. We had a buffet lunch on the first day, but after that, it switched to a fixed menu with three options—unclear what determines the change. The atmosphere can be a bit noisy, especially with large tour groups. During my stay, there were many Chinese tourists who were loud and partied late into the night, which could be a downside for light sleepers or those unfamiliar with that travel style. The rooms themselves are decent, but there are some issues. Ants and moths appear at night, so it’s best to keep food and drinks sealed or in the fridge and turn off lights when not in use. Water is provided daily, but room cleaning is only done upon request. Also, Wi-Fi doesn’t reach the rooms at the far end of the resort—something to keep in mind if you rely on connectivity. There is a swimming pool, but it wasn’t particularly inviting due to insects in the water—I didn’t see anyone use it during my stay. On the bright side, the view of the mountains is beautiful and offers a peaceful backdrop. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re traveling with a group, don’t mind extra commuting, and are okay with basic amenities and some nature-related inconveniences.

The room is spacious and clean. But the noise from next door is pretty loud when they close the door. But overall a fine stay for short trip.

My experience at this place wasn't good at all ....they have the worst gym if you even call that a gym ...the rooms are not that clean and the lobby looks like from 50 years ago ....the staff are nice I do have to say that...friendly people ..... the breakfast ...not good .... it is a very big resort but it needs reformation ....light goes out all the time but that happens in all the city quite often .....the restaurant barely had any food I order like four different plates and they didn't have any of it .....we payed 46 USD per room during rainy season and for sure not worth it at all there is other options for cheaper prices and definitely the rooms more updated ... also is a bit far from the city ...so if you don't rent a bike it's kind off annoying to try to get a taxi all the time .....they have a shuttle bus that takes you to the city but for some reason they didn't have a driver when we were there 🤔 the only plus that this hotel has is the view of the pool ..that is amazing and worth the picture 📸 that I have to be honest and give it a plus.. but for the rest I don't recommend staying there for that price

We wouldn’t stay here again. Ants invaded our room, including the bed with no food left out. The American/Chinese style breakfast was completely Chinese food, all covered in ants aswell. When questioning the management they said “we are catering for our Chinese customers”, completely forgetting about their other valued customers. We paid extra for breakfast and couldn’t eat any of it. After an hour at reception, they finally gave us a refund. The pool had a nice view of the mountains however was dirty. The fitness room was taken over by insects and hotter than outside, with rotting floor. When we asked the staff about the ‘spa’ they said it didn’t exist, so why advertise it online? The wifi didn’t work anywhere apart from the lobby. Avoid. The only positive was the free shuttle service into town, the driver was lovely.

The location is nice. And the room is quite spacious. But the tv was not easy to open. And hope the front s’est stuff speaks English.
