The hotel is about 2-3 kilometers from Vang Vieng's commercial center. The surrounding area is very desolate and inconvenient for getting around. 2. Although the hotel provides a shuttle bus service to and from the station, I couldn't contact the hotel when I arrived at the station. One day, their shuttle bus broke down, and I had to call a car myself. 3. Breakfast was not a buffet but delivered to the hotel room with no choice. They served bacon, eggs, and sausages, which were all unappetizing. 4. Overall, given the high price, my expectations for the hotel were quite high, but it didn't quite meet my expectations."

"Pros: Close to the Vang Vieng morning market. The breakfast offered a good variety of tropical fruits, and you could choose one egg dish. There's a swimming pool, although I didn't use it because it was exposed to direct sunlight all day. The room cleanliness was decent. The water pressure in the shower was good. Cons: The air conditioner had low refrigerant, so I spent a very hot night. Even after a technician came multiple times the next day, the AC still wasn't working properly – the temperature and fan speed couldn't be adjusted, and water kept dripping and spraying out of it, which was quite uncomfortable. The middle of the bed sagged, making it uncomfortable to sleep as I kept rolling towards the center. When I asked the host to arrange transportation to Vang Vieng train station, I was surprised and disappointed when they quoted 75,000 kip per person for a tuk-tuk. While I know nothing in life is free, I felt it was a significant rip-off. I ended up booking a taxi on the street for 50,000 kip per person, so 100,000 kip for two, and it even had air conditioning."

"I loved the room, the pool, the location, the view of the mountains, the attentive staff, but the wife and son were not my favorite. The 2 local staff work diligently for 12 hours a day every day cooking and cleaning the entire building on their own. They're constantly moving, but they always stop to smile at a guest and ask if they can help with something. The wife is so rude to the local staff. She screeches at them like she's yelling across a field instead of from the dining room table where she plops herself and listens to dramas at full volume on her phone the entire day when she isn't napping. The son often holds down the reception desk in the afternoons while he's playing mmorpg's streaming at his laptop and becoming very annoyed if his quest is interrupted. The pace could be such high-quality of only the Vietnamese owners were."
