"I am soooo impressed by this hotel, overseeing the marina's area of Varna... beautiful, well located and very affordable for a 4 star hotel! But the special mention goes to the golden hearted staff, that went the extra mile to make us feel (even more) comfortable. Perfect breakfast, killer view from the rooms... And they have a "secret" bar underground, with tons of special craft beer, a very nice bartender and an impressive East-Romanian tombstone for decoration... a MUST GO for any beer geek! If you ever find yourself in Varna, this hotel is a must-go. "

"Fabulous place. Would definately stay again. When booking I assumed it included the 'thermal journey part' but it doesn't. This needs to be made clearer. The deluxe room was lovely. The mini bar was superb. It would help if milk was included for the coffee and tea. The food was very good. The children going wild on their scooters through reception and the breakfast room was not acceptable at all....an accident waiting to happen!!"

"I really liked it, the room was clean, cleaned every day, the room is dark, which can be an advantage or a disadvantage, breakfasts are good, you have to order what to take care of and the quantity, but for me it was sufficient, the service was very nice, helpful. The neighborhood is quiet, there are shops and bars, unfortunately in bars you pay in cash. The beach is close, you can get to the center by bus almost from the hotel about 20-30 minutes. To the airport about 50 minutes with 1 change in the center."

"Its a very big hotel that is the heart of golden sand, when this might suits lot of people i would say its mainly for people who like gambling and its a hotel that is 24 hours alive, the buffet is very good and the young girl in the reception with curly hair is outstanding ( can’t recall her name unfortunately) she did help a lot in every single aspect, the hotel is good if you looking for a place in the heart of golden sand but be prepared for a big crowd for breakfast and around the elevators and most facilities, the coffee capsules are not free which is not acceptable for 5* hotel, the reason i guess is to buy coffee from the costa coffee at the lobby area, the lack of separation between our balcony and the balcony next door is annoying because we had cigarettes smoke constantly entering the room, also there was no privacy in the balcony. Overall it was a decent stay for a place like Varna where there isn’t much choice."

It is a perfect hotel with a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, beautiful rooms, and complimentary access to Aqua house Thermal throughout the entire stay. We arrived at the hotel in the morning, and they allowed us to check into our room before the official check-in time. Not only that, but they also upgraded our room to one with a pool and sea view! There is no doubt that we will return here again!"

"We felt completely at home during our 8-day stay. The room was spacious, offered enough space - and stable WiFi - to do home-away-from-home office. The clothes rails (instead of cupboards) that are often criticized are really no problem either. Breakfast (available until 10:30 a.m.) is sufficient and offers self-service bread, butter and jam, tea, water, coffee and fruit juice as well as a selection of four daily changing offerings (each of which includes one dish with eggs, cereal, cake, pancakes, ...). The manageable and well-planned complex has a lot of small shops on the ground floor and everything you need (restaurants, bank, hairdresser, pharmacy, supermarket, bus stop) is in the immediate vicinity. The beautiful beach is easily accessible on foot within a few minutes. A bus ride to the extremely worth seeing center of Varna takes about 30 minutes and costs 2 leva (1 €) for a single trip. It is worth taking the day ticket for 4 leva."

"I called last evening maintenance at the reception to tell them in the bedroom air is unbreatheble and to fix the AC either to open window(which that one aswell its blocked) nothing been fixed , workman said "tomorrow" never came back. The ceiling bit which is covering the AC from bedroom has been left open, unsafe for a child to step in the bedroom."

An extraordinary variety of plants and trees. There were autumnal decorations both at the reception and in the entrances of the buildings, as well as outside. This made our stay even more cozy and comfortable. We are pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and lively it is here in autumn too."

"I have stayed there for the New Years' Eve. This is a good 4-star hotel meeting the standards of the Golden Tulip hotel chain. Large clean rooms. The hotel is not far from the city center - about 5 mins walk. At the basement you will find a restaurant Pivovarna (like Varna brewery but has nothing to do with it) with good cuisine and wine list for reasonable prices. Breakfast was good even on days where no buffet but menu was offered. New Years brunch on 1st January was great with its two types of soup and plenty of food, but I must say they have forgotten the champaign, although there were appropriate glasses prepared. Hristian at the reception desk is an excellent employee, was very helpful and nice, I liked him."

"I don't understand the hotel's good reviews. The breakfast is a disaster and not sufficient. We've had the same four choices for three days now. The rooms are okay, but our mattress was defective, and I slept on springs. When I reported it, they just smiled. For the price, you can definitely get better deals in the area. The area is a nice walk to the sea, and the passage is also beautifully designed. But unfortunately, this isn't enough—once and never again."
