Daios Cove

We stayed at Daios Cove for our honeymoon and the staff were outstanding – friendly, professional, and attentive throughout. The food was excellent, with highlights including a special honeymoon meal at Ocean on a private terrace and a fantastic cooking class with Chef Nektaria Kokkinaki, which was fun, informative, and delicious. Unfortunately, the room was a major letdown. We upgraded to a Junior Suite Sea View with pool, but the sun never reached the terrace or sunbeds, making the upgrade a waste of money and, to be honest, it felt a little like a marketing con. We also had ongoing issues with the shower and bath water temperature, which is not what you’d expect from a five-star resort. The answer was to leave it running for 5-10 mins. Even after 20 it was not hot enough for a bath. We did ask about moving rooms but this was not facilitated. Overall, the staff and dining experiences made our stay memorable, but the room issues left us unsure if we would return which is a real shame after a visit in 2024 which was very good.

Just returned from the most amazing week at Daios Cove. Everything absolutely spot on - beautiful clean and flawlessly designed accommodation (we were staying in one of the Collection suites with Private Pool), which worked perfectly for our family of four. The Cove itself provides the perfect setting - with fabulous views and crystal clear waters. We were part of the Residents Club all inclusive package which was excellent - and were really impressed by the quality and variety of food and drinks in the a la carte and buffet restaurants. The kids particularly loved how easy it was to get to the beach, and the games room - as well as the kids mocktails! We found April a great time of year to go - as it wasn’t too busy but weather was great - between 21-23c everyday. We will be back!

We stayed at Daios Cove for a week on our first family holiday with our 5-month-old son. After doing a lot of research to find the right all-inclusive option, we settled on this resort and overall had a wonderful stay. We booked through British Airways, with our package (including flights) costing around £3,800. The service throughout our stay was excellent—nothing we asked for was ever too much trouble. We were provided with a steam steriliser and a comfortable travel cot in our room, which made things much easier with a baby. The food was consistently delicious, with plenty of dining options to choose from. All room service was included which meant we could have breakfast on the terrace and a couple of dinners too. One small regret was not realising until the last day that the Ocean restaurant was available for breakfast, which would have been a lovely alternative to the buffet. The resort is generally buggy-friendly, though getting around often requires using the funicular, which can mean a bit of waiting. Possibly trickier during high season. There were a few downsides for us. Unfortunately, the weather was terrible during our stay—rain, wind, and clouds all week. April is definitely a gamble! Although the pools are advertised as heated, they weren’t that warm. We had hoped to take our son swimming indoors (as we do regularly at home), but the indoor pool was too cold for him—around 25°C. The spa pool was the perfect temperature, but unfortunately, children aren't allowed. We had paid extra for a room with a private pool, imagining peaceful nap times by the water, but sadly the pool wasn’t heated and sat in the shade, so we didn’t get to use it at all. Lastly, while our room was very spacious, it felt quite dated and basic in terms of décor—worth noting if aesthetics are important to you. All in all we had a great holiday and would consider returning again.

We had a lovely week at this resort in Oct. Very organised on arrival, a buggy took us to our room, which was a deluxe sea view. Very beautiful large room with large fridge, very comfortable bed and excellent shower. We chose to sit on the beach for the first few days, plenty of loungers available and nice to have the beach restaurant very close. However on the second day we felt we were swamped with young children on top of us, causing this to be a bit distraction to our relaxation. We then moved to the pool area after this and were lucky enough to get a quiet area at the top of the pool. There is an adults only area but it is right next to the pool and the toilets are through this area so seemed pointless. One afternoon we had a thunderstorm so went to the indoor pool and spa, which was beautiful. The gym is amazingly equipped. We chose to eat in Pangea most evenings, amazing choice of food, we didn’t feel the need to eat anywhere else. Anna on greet in Pangea was amazing and remembered our room number. This hotel is beautiful and I am sure we will return one day but there are a lot of young children here and we even witnessed 4 children aged around 5 travelling in the funicular alone. Wonderful hotel but we wished less children.

What can I say? Food amazing, staff amazing, location amazing Absolutely perfect!! I would highly recommend this hotel and in particular the Ocean restaurant ( food and staff simply the best) Some tips to get the best out of your stay Book restaurants before you come Get a subbed to the left of the beach for maximum sun

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and great food/drink. Our second time visiting with a young child and we cannot fault the place- thank you.
