This hotel excelled in most respects. And was so delightful I felt it warranted the five stars. It’s in a most beautiful location, peaceful and quiet except for the birdsong, the scent of orange blossom. Views over the hills, and the avocado groves. It’s a beautiful 19th century building in fairly extensive grounds and gardens. A nice walk to the swimming pool is recommended. Our room was double aspect with a balcony that went around from one door to the other. Very comfortable bed and good black out curtains. Bathroom was adequate although could benefit from an update. Nowhere to hang a longer garment (ie a dress) in the wardrobe, although plenty of space otherwise. We absolutely loved the restaurant, it’s a beautiful space built into a large conservatory. The food was outstanding, clearly a very talented chef. Particularly recommended would be the croquettas and the steak, loved the avocado ice cream too. Very nice breakfast. A final word to say how good the staff were. Friendly and helpful and humorous in some instances. Highly recommend.

We stayed at B bou Iconic Cortijo Bravo for four nights, and we are already planning our return trip. From the sweeping views to the meticulously groomed grounds, everything about this villa feels like a dream. Small details — like heart-shaped bushes and a private patio — added a personal and romantic touch to our stay. The on-site restaurant, Restaurante Cortijo Bravo, was truly exceptional. The attentive and professional staff ensured that every meal was beautifully served and thoroughly enjoyable. A few standouts: the tuna carpaccio and pork tenderloin were, without exaggeration, the best we’ve ever had. As avid travelers and New Yorkers accustomed to world-class cuisine, it takes a lot to impress us — but these dishes truly stood out. Dining with a panoramic view through elegant glass walls made each meal unforgettable. Cortijo Bravo isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a place to savor. Highly recommended.

A pleasant stay in a nice location on a hill above the avocado fields. Decent room, a little on the small side. Reasonable restaurant with very friendly waiters. Breakfast OK. Service very friendly but was a bit stretched when we were there. Definitely need to order from the menu and then hope that it is not too busy as it can be a bit slow, Buffet is a bit thin. Small improvements - such as natural yoghurt, slices of bread for toast instead of just rolls etc. - would make a difference. Also a bit mixed how welcoming reception is. Was efficient and pleasant but because this is the first impression for the hotel can be more friendly and immediately responsive,

Fabulous hotel , beautiful location fantastic pool and surrounded by fruit trees and rural scenery just wonderful- staff are very nice and hotel clean and wonderfully done out, room was nice and spacious, we are sad to leave ! would highly recommend

Went on Friday night for a meal on the terrace. What a beautiful spot. Food and service exceptional plus a great pianist. All the staff we met were really nice. Note: Don’t cheapen yourself by charging extra for the bread rolls. Beautiful presented at the table but no mention of charge until bill arrived. Silly and not necessary. Otherwise superb!

We had a very special lunch here with friends; the venue is fabulous, with a beautiful aspect and immaculate presentation all round. We sat in the enclosed, sunlit dining room 'terrace' which is a pleasure to spend time in and the service throughout is top class. Various dishes included a take on steak tartare on toast and a rich gazpacho with olive ice cream; then generous sole and a deeply tasty Arroz Caldoso. Really good bread and a good wine list. For a special lunch, this hit the mark all round.

We love this place. For the hospitality, rooms, swimming pool, breakfast and very fine dining in a very nice and calm environment which is still close to the coast after all. We either stay in the hotel and if not.... we eat at least once in this place
