Ca' Nigra Lagoon Resort

The location of this hotel is really convenient. It's closer to the train station than the action, but everything is definitely within an easy walk or boat ride. The front desk lady booked a water taxi for us and in hind sight I should have done it myself because it ended up costing significantly more than it should have. I love that the rooms were spacious and had direct views of the canal. We only had one night there but if we ever return to Venice we would definitely consider this hotel again.

PERFECT location, fabulous green space, helpful and courteous staff, spacious room all at a reasonable price. I would gladly recommend this hotel for anyone. Loved having a window on the canal and sitting in the garden watching people on the grand canal go by.

Great room, good location and very clean. The man at the desk was very helpful and welcoming! Comfy and clean bed. Didn’t get a chance to try any room service or the bar, but I can imagine it’d be good! Definitely great for couples and I would return here should I visit Venice again

A truly lovely and super friendly hotel. The garden was beautiful - all lit up at night and by day could spend ages looking out on the grand canal and people crossing the station bridge. The room was very spacious and lovely, with a view over the side canal. All the staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful. All round a super stay. I'd go again.

The hotel is centrally located in Venice and has an amazing garden on the Grand Canal. It is located with a few blocks of the train station. All of the staff were friendly and helped in any way they could. Unfortunately, the night we checked in the air conditioner for the building was not working and we slept with our windows open. Unfortunately the windows did not have screens and the next morning every guest in the hotel all shared the same multiple mosquito bite story over breakfast.

Beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Certain rooms are situated on the canal with views of the gondolas going by with tourists. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice and quite place located at the Canale Grande with good access by foot and Vaporetti to all the islands and the old city. Smaller hotel with not much more than 20 rooms and a very nice terrace and garden towards the Canale Grande. Rooms were fully equipped and nicely furnished. Service and reception were very friendly and supportive. In total, a very nice stay and recommendable place to go.

This hotel is situated on a quiet campo within easy walking distance of the train station. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The grounds were beautiful, with a garden right on the Grand Canal. The staff were helpful and friendly. The only reason this isn’t a 5-star review is that the breakfast offered was expensive and mediocre.

The property is beautiful, right on the banks of the Grand Canal, with stunning gardens. My room was incredible, with a huge chandelier and a spacious footprint overlooking one of the smaller canals. The gentleman who greeted me at check in was wonderful! So welcoming and helpful, as was the barman who served me a delicious spritz in the garden in the evening. Everything was so perfect so I was really disappointed at checkout, which was a stressful experience. I was leaving at 4am to get the first bus to the airport. The gentleman was extremely slow and was having some issues with the computer, but there was no sense of urgency, after about 5 mins of fruitless clicking on the computer he said the printer was out of paper. I said I was sorry but I had to leave and asked that they charged the credit card I had swiped at check in and if he could email me a receipt to the email I had also given at check in. The man wouldn't let me leave without writing my credit card info down on a post it note, completely unsecure, but I had no choice as I was in danger of missing my bus and flight. I do not understand why this was necessary when it had already been swiped at check in. Some additional training in how to handle customers' financial data security is needed.
