great location and the private water taxi from airport took us just few yards from hotel. staff was very kind and helpful. breakfast was very nice and the water bottle refill in the courtyard was a life saver. the Venetian cookies were very yummy too. The towel bar warmer actually worked and was great. roomy shower. Our room (5) was next to a very quite common area so it felt like we had so much more additional space. would most definitely return.

Our stay at Novecento was generally OK - the room was clean and the location was good. The reason we have provided this hotel with 3 star is Whatsapp assistance with the front desk, their restaurant recommendations and reservations were wonderful and incredibly helpful, as well as the breakfast was delicious and the staff serving breakfast were helpful and kind. Regretfully, we found our stay at Novecento to be low-mid level. The rooms and bathrooms were incredibly small. What we found to be the most disappointing was it did not offer 24/7 front desk support. They promoted the Flora Hotel quite a bit, and we wish there was more messaging to note that the Flora Hotel had many more resources available in comparison to Novecento, as we would have preferred to stay there. We did not have anyone on-site to welcome us to our room, and it felt more like an air-bnb than a hotel. Personally, the hotel was incredibly unique, clean and well located, but i would recommend staying at their partner hotel, Flora Hotel, over Novecento to receive a better service experience.

I've just had an excellent 4-day stay here. Beautiful little guest-house, set in a quiet street just off the Grand Canal. About 10 minutes walk from Piazza San Marco. You can get the Alilaguna Arancio (Orange) line from the airport to S. Maria del Giglio which is a very short walk away, thus avoiding the busier service to/from San Marco. The owner (Heiby) was really welcoming & really helpful, with some great restaurant recommendations. Superb breakfasts too. This isn't a full-service hotel (no bar or restaurant) but their sister-hotel (Hotel Flora) is a 5 minute walk away & has a delightful bar & garden. Good wi-fi, good air conditioning. My room (#6) wasn't huge, but right outside I had a very large sitting room to use.

What a lovely hotel in a quiet yet very central location. We were met by owner Heiby, who is so friendly and helpful. Our room was great, loved the decor. And the shared living room is amazing. Breakfast was excellent and was arranged early to suit our water bus to the airport ( from Giglio stop 2 min walk away). Had a drink at sister hotel Flora in their nice courtyard garden and ate at Ai Mercanti nearby, which is super. Wish we could've stayed longer, thanks Heiby and we hope to be back.

I came with my partner and we absolutely loved it! The breakfast, location, staff, and vibe were all fabulous. The staff scheduled us tours, private water taxis, and make us dinner reservations. The garden in the back is so lovely. We will be back! Special thanks to Nirvana and Miley (who makes and serves breakfast). Coffee, tea, espresso, juice, bread, cheese, meat, yogurt, jam, fruit, and usually a little something special extra. The hotel also felt very safe.

We stayed at the Novecento during our visit to Venice. This well-located stylish, small hotel, about 10-15 minutes from St. Mark's Square is a quiet and beautiful refuge from the crowds that are present in the city. The hotel is run by the family Romanelli who are very dedicated to making the experience first rate. The rooms are decorated beautifully with carefully selected and comfortable furnishings. The breakfast is lovely with fresh croissants, pastries, butter, cheese, jams and fruit as well as granola and a daily additional surprise. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Nirvana and Heiby helped us enormously with everything we asked for. Nirvana even made reservations for us in Verona for places she knew of. Cannot think of a nicer place to stay!

We were meant to be staying at the Novecento's sister hotel, Hotel Flora. However sadly there were not enough guests to justify opening so they moved us to the Novecento. It is much smaller, and has a very different style. Really lovely warm welcome and the staff were great throughout - lots of helpful recommendations. No breakfast buffet due to covid but a good continental breakfast and eggs if wanted. The orange juice was very watered down on the first day, but fine on our second. Really like the fact you could just make a cup of tea when you wanted. The main sitting room is really beautiful. Our bedroom was definitely different. The bed was a mattress on an ornate wooden frame. It was actually much more comfortable than it looked, but i have to say it is definitely the noisiest bed I've ever slept on - every movement and the wooden frame creaked and groaned! We did still sleep quite well though as the hotel is in a lovely peaceful location We'd certainly stay here again.
