I stayed at La Pergola for 3 nights and it felt very homey to me, like a student dorm room.
It was easy to reach from the Lido SME station, very quiet, my room had plenty of light, a desk to do some work, internet was working properly in the room though I was at the second floor.
The bed was comfy, bed linen was clean, the water was warm and shower had pressure, though the shower head had some holes clogged.
All the basics are there, coffee in the morning is included, and -despite the fact that the room could use a deep cleaning - I think it was great value for money, much better than expected given the previous reviews.
This place will be on my return list in my future travels to Venice.

I had been there a few times before, and I considered it a modest but pleasant hotel. The good price seemed to make the imperfections acceptable. Now I found it really too shabby and messy (various broken things, poor cleaning, dirty walls), insufficient heating, a somewhat sad atmosphere.

The location is about 10 minutes on foot from the ferry station on Lido Island. The staff's response is a little rough, but it might be suitable for those who like a proper frank feeling.
It was difficult to find the entrance. I thought it was a little different from the building displayed on Google Map.
The appearance and the cleanliness of the common space are not so much, but the room was clean.

The hotel is not far from the beach and many restaurants. You can eat breakfast for free, it is best to eat breakfast locally. The positive is the refrigerator in the room and the small courtyard with table and sofa. The impression of this hotel is a bit ruthless.

Went in 2018 for our wedding anniversary. Basic but nice apart from the ghost. We stayed in the room with the corner hottub (It didn't work so was just a bath). But the room was haunted. Neither me or hubby would return.
