Non sono mai stato in hotel peggiore.
Puzzolente, sporco, una colazione da far ridere.
178 euro per una notte, non potevo immaginare un hotel così indecente.

LIKE LIKE LIKE i m very happy to visit Viareggio for my business. This hotel is near the beach and in a beatiful little square . Good service ancd amazing resturant with Marco italian cHEF. Sure i come back here in next summer

The location was excellent, above my expectation. Nice city to walk and dine.
Staff are very nice. Included breakfast was not bad, (no warm breakfast).

I love the hotel , the staff was nice and friendly, my friends and I enjoyed our stay, the bedroom was also great for the price. The view was relaxing 😊, overall we had a very nice stay and we would love to visit again

Had a ‘prestige’ room at the front with a balcony. Huge bed, high ceilings, a really lovely room in a really lovely hotel, full of character. Very helpful and pleasant staff, and I had a great breakfast. Basically a matter of metres away from the beach and all Viareggio’s wonderful beachside cafes/bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay at the Marchionni again.

the hotel in liberty style, quite old but functional.
In the room the pressure of the water was low and the balcony was totally dirty, for the rest everything ok included the breakfast.

Positives: Easy walk to beach and boardwalk. Everything felt classic-like out of a movie! Antique elevator, lovely dining area and entryway (except bedroom- see below.) Found out we had a free 3-course dinner and full continental breakfast included! Free wine but paid for water/ soft drinks. Great food! Very clean room.
Negatives: Our room: Felt like we were sleeping in a back alley closet. Little to no decor, minimal light bulbs, really small bathroom, poor TV quality. Hostess spoke little English so was difficult to communicate about meals and beach use. Not sure if we had beach "rights". Limited parking.

We stayed two nights, the staff was so nice and friendly but unfortunately the room & breakfast is not highly recommended. They deserve a 1 ⭐️. When we entered the room we found a wet or used towel 😢

Can’t recommend a stay here.
The only upside is that the hotel is situated close to the nice promenade by the beach.
There are only private beaches and sun beds for one day cost around 25€. The hotel will charge around 3€ more if a voucher is bought there.
No beach bar available as stated in the hotel information.
Towels are only changed every third day even if a sign in the bathroom states that the towels are changed if they are placed on the floor. Very confusing.
Leaking shower door so a puddle of water on the floor after each shower.
Cockroaches in the room.
Available staff when checking in couldn’t speak English, caused unnecessary uncertainties.
Staff claimed that city tax should be paid every day, think that it is more correct to charge this tax for the amount of nights.
