Villa Roscia is a very nice, small hotel near the famous and beautiful Beau Vallon beach on Mahé. It is situated on a hillside and offers a unique view of the sea and Beau Vallon from the terrace of the building. Especially in the morning it is a special treat to enjoy the excellent and extensive breakfast prepared by the employee Alice. We have stayed at Villa Roscia several times and the last time was in December 2024. We love to sit on the terrace for a while after breakfast to enjoy the view before going to the beach or exploring the island in a hire car. The owners of Villa Roscia are the wonderful couple Nicole Saint Ange and Paolo Roscia, who always make every effort to satisfy their guests and make their stay in their hotel a special experience. It is almost always possible to have a nice chat with the owners, ask questions and get tips for the island. Sometimes you even get in touch with the family's lovely children. It really is a very nice family, which also includes dogs and cats. Another advantage of the hotel is that you can have dinner on the terrace if you wish. Nicole or Alice offer a very tasty Creole dinner at a very affordable price. On the other hand, you can also visit one of the best restaurants on the island in the evening, which is only a 15-minute walk away, the ‘La Perle Noir Restaurant’ near the Coral Strand Hotel on Beau Vallon. We spend our holidays at Villa Roscia every year when we are on Mahé as we prefer small hotels because they are generally much more familiar and this is especially true of Villa Roscia. You immediately feel at home and don't have the feeling that you've been away for a year. This really is a holiday at its best in every respect. Keep up the good work, we'll be back.

We stayed at the guest house for 9 nights and were well looked after by Nicole and Paulo. Nothing was too much trouble and they both ensured we had the best time. We ate here most nights and the food was cooked to perfection by Alice and Audrey. Cocktails on the deck watching the sunset every evening was spectacular, and so I highly recommend that you spend a few evenings here watching the sunset with cocktails followed by dinner (the fish dishes were my favorite) instead of heading out for supper elsewhere. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back!
