This hotel is a real gem. A long way up the mountain and away from the masses, perfect peace. The spa was bigger than expected and comprehensive as were the treatments. The only thing I would say is there is a pan Asian theme to the food but with some dishes not hitting the mark. Staff very friendly and our room fabulous. Great for trekking!

The hotel was in a good location for hiking and biking up in mountain. Overall a good experience with an excellent spa.
Only minus would be my room was located next to the reception so you could hear people talking and music but only faintly. It was quiet during the night tough.
And the breakfast was a little disappointing with the section for a 4 star hotel. Worse thing would be they served frozen and not fresh fruit.
Personal was friendly and helpful.

This is a charming and comfortable hotel set on the outskirts of the sweet village of Vilaflor in a lovely pine forest with magnificent views back and front. The facilities are great, the public areas and bedrooms are spacious and well-appointed. The the staff are friendly and incredibly helpful. Good food, and a massive well-equipped Spa. I know there have been one or two negative reviews and I am absolutely baffled by them. Our stay here was perfect, and the staff really thoughtful and helpful when my wife twisted her knee and needed some help. We will definitely be coming back for a longer stay and I highly recommend it to other travellers.

Beautiful hotel in nature, lots of birds daily and many stars visible at night. Very friendly and helpful staff, here you are not treated as a tourist but as a friend of the family. On our next trip to Tenerife, we will definitely choose Hotel Spa Villalba again.

Excellent staff, beautiful location. Lovely spa. Idyllic outside space. Great food. All round relaxing and chilled vibe. Room - suite with whirlpool plus balcony - had a lovely view and an immense and characterful bathroom. Bed was very very comfortable and big.

It is not a posh and upscale resort/spa but probably the best destination for a relaxing getaway in the forest, close to the Teide National park. Staff @ the hotel and Spa was very nice and my room was quite large and comfortable. The Spa (with a decent pool) was great and clean. The restaurant is good but there is room for improvements ( sorry the industrial chocolate cake and attitude of the staff were not so impressive). Overall, this hotel/spa was a good pick for my 3 day break.

Lovely little oasis in the hills of Tenerife. Unfortunately we only stayed two nights there as a base for Teide - would like yo have stayed more. Rooms are very spacious - bathroom even more so. Food was excellent. Did not have time to try pool / wellness. Some nice hikes close to hotel and short walk to village with more restaurants etc.

Beautiful hotel in an amazing setting and wonderfully peaceful. One negative is that there is not really a sun k menu for lunch and the starters are very expensive ie €12 plus for most so makes dining at the hotel very costly. Would be great if they did some simple foods for lunch like toasties, sandwiches and rolls and maybe fries or few tapas. We would very much stay again but we would have to consider eating out as dinner at €100 when I don’t drink is pretty expensive. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially the lady on reception.

An ideal stay for those seeking absolute relaxing. Exquisite cuisine, welcoming atmosphere and kind service. Staff were helpful at all times. Extreme silence in and around the hotel, situated in impressive natural surroundings. We will definitively come back.
