The resort is set on one of the most beautiful areas in the south of Sardinia. Check in might take time, depending on how many people there are and also because it takes time to explain everything since it's a big resort. Staff is very nice and friendly. I had a room in a bungalow, the size of it is very nice but it's very dated. There was only one outlet to charge anything, tv is small, there is no internet in the room!!! Guys it's 2023!! But the most annoying thing it was the issue with warm water: there is an electric boiler and if you use too much warm water, it takes hours to warm it up again. I had 2 cold showers: cakes the maintenance that pointed out that there was nothing to do if not waiting... the food is very good to be a big resort and it's well organized. The beach is very beautiful although it should be included, anyway it was written on all websites. I find the all inclusive very poor. They should include some drinks and snacks instead only the 3 meals are included. It's after all a good resort but not as good as some years ago when it was a very well known one. They need to work a lot and modernize many things

I had very low expectations when I book this hotel. I only wanted a beach front hotel! Voi Tanka is much more than that! The resort has good facilities, lovely staff and amazing food (a lot of variety and amazing quality) ! We were in a half board option and we cannot recommend enough the food! I wish I had gone full board. Our room was huge and perfectly cleaned every day but quiet outdated.

We had a great 2 weeks with the family at Tanka. Great food, a variety of sports activity during the day along with great entertainment around the different bar areas and the amphitheater. The sea is crystal clear along with miles of white sandy beaches. The boat trips were informative and fun as it was great exploring the wonderful coastline. The staff were helpful and google translate helped on many occasions…and the animation led by Marco Guidi was brilliant for everyone to see. We had a great time and will be back next year!

Just returning from Voi Tanka Village and booked 18 nights in a Dimora Family Suite for 2 adults and 1 teenager. We did our research and thank you to many Trip Advisor reviewers, we planned and packed properly and arrived with very low expectations. We booked our suite in January directly from their website and emailed the hotel many times to get additional information. We also asked for an early check-in and late check-out and none of these were possible (high season, we assumed). Upon arrival, we waited over one hour in line to check-in. Not enough staff on a Saturday to deal with all the guests. People started to get very impatient and disappointed shouting in Italian so not quite the 4 star hotel welcome you would expect. However, this is how we felt about the whole experience: PROS: The grounds are well kept and cleaned but it is a HUGE resort so be ready to walk. - The Bell Boys bring your luggage in golf carts directly to your room. - There are several restaurants where to eat: Oasys is the main buffet which caters for everyone at breakfast, lunch & dinner. We only ate lunch there occasionally and it is basically an hectic canteen that caters for hundred of guests. The Mirto (free of charge for Dimora or Domus guests) is a buffet style restaurant, only opened for breakfast & dinner (closed at lunch), with a more sereine atmosphere but similar food to Oasys. The Pizzeria is free of charge for Dimora or Domus guests (paying for other room types) and it was quiet in August so a much better option for lunch than the overcrowded Oasys. The Poke & Burger restaurant is charged for all guests and absolutely disgusting. Burgers served cold in carboard boxes, no fries available and staff unpleasant. The Stella Di Mare (fish place) offers a discount rate for Dimora guests but we didn't try it. Other food options for younger kids were available to eat but we were not concerned. - The sandy beach is beautiful with clear sea water. Avoid paying for the loungers and gazebos. The prices are not worth it. Guests are on top of each other, glued like sardines. Instead, pack a small retractable parasol, bring your own beach towels and walk just 50 metres away from the crazy "private" Voi Tanka where you will find a beautiful, quiet sandy section area. Same place as paying guests but free of charge and empty despite the high season so the beach experience was so much more relaxing than the guests who paid a fortune to rent a lounger 10cm from everyone else. - The hotel has live bands and evening entertainments. We didn't try any of them but no doubt some guests like those. - The pool is cleaned and well kept. Lifeguards on site. No issue getting free loungers anytime we visited. Swimming caps are mandatory unless the Bar area (which sells them) is out of stock in which case the rule is lifted and everyone can swim "cap-free". It happened 5 times in 18 days. The pool closes every day between 1pm and 3pm. - The Piazza (main square) has a main bar

Nice holiday Pro: location, entertainment, food Cons: no daily cleaning of the room, too many kids, no Wi-Fi in room, charging for sunbeds and gym ? Really - no way!

Visited this hotel 7 or 8 times - every year worst and worst and now its terrible. No respect for guest, u have to bring cash everywhere, no way to get a sunbed in a good place. Hotel is not adjusted for max number of guests - extreme croud everywhere. Staff don’t care about anybody, sport animators don’t even appear on sport areas. Hotel didn’t care about our transfer to the airport (despite they provided us a transfer a week before) - told us that’s not their problem. The only advantage is the great beach (ofc too small for 2 thousands guest) and the food. This used to me amazing hotel but now it’s pathetic - choose other

Great sea , nice beach , good shops and restaurants and sports activities. Rooms can be improved as well as cleaning service. Wi-fi not working. Paying extra for services like Beach or even Gym wasn’t ideal.

We stayed for one week with our son who is 17 months old. We choose a room close to the beach which was great, less than 5 minutes walk. Something to consider if you have very young kids. It was even closer to the piazzetta where the main bar, shops and restaurants are. The room itself, while perhaps a bit dated, was large, cool and the bed was really comfortable. The food was delicious, lots of healthy options to choose from and a wide variety for vegetarians, less so for vegans. One suggestion would be to have a designated place for a vegan dish each day, for example a lentil stew/curry/soup with rice, rather than getting veggies from all the different food areas to make a meal. The vegan croissants at breakfast were lovely. The beach is beautiful, clean and the water perfect. The staff were so friendly and the entertainment was top quality for both kids and adults. We didn’t get to see any of the night time shows in the theatre unfortunately but did listen to some bands and acoustic sets in the bars. Most of the guests are Italian so I would have struggled a bit only for my (Italian) partner doing all the talking but the staff kindly changed to English whenever I attempted communication 😃. The resort photographers Lorenzo and Andrea were so friendly and helpful too and we got some photos printed. We will definitely be back next year!

My best friend and I were really looking forward to visiting Sardinia and staying at Tanka Village. Unfortunately we were both very disappointed. Upon arrival and check in the information provided to us was minimal and we were left to find our own way. We put this to the back of our minds as we were both looking forward to enjoying a well deserved holiday. However because basic information such as Breakfast and restaurants were not given to us we would find ourselves looking for breakfast in the wrong restaurants and being told you cannot eat here. As you can imagine this is quite an embarrassing situation and as we are not Italian speaking we really couldn’t grasp the concept of Tanka. The pool looked lovely and as you can imagine at any hotel you look forward to taking a dip. This was not the case as you are not allowed to use the pool unless you purchased a swimming cap and wore it. It seemed to be issue after issue with what you could do at Tanka. If only we were provided with detailed information I feel that the uncomfortable feelings we had could have been avoided. I have to say that Italy has always been a destination that I enjoy, the people and the food go hand in hand. However on this occasion I strongly feel that because I was not Italian I was forgotten about and really not made to feel welcome. The welcome was just not there. I would smile and try to speak to the staff however I was met with almost blank expressions. The location is great and the beach is beautiful but these factors are not part of the Hospitality. There are so many things that I could mention about Tanka but I almost feel it would be a waste of time to share. 1. Tanka is very dated, the rooms are in desperate need of renovation 2. Customer Service needs to be able to understand clients needs 3. Restaurants are a free for all, you need to grab a table quickly and hope for the best. No organisation 4. The golf buggies are driven far too quickly and dangerously around the village. An accident waiting to happen 5. We were charged for an airport transfer that we did not confirm and we then told they said they hadn’t actually arranged the transfer so we had to wait for them to arrange which meant we almost missed our flight home. Again no apology. We almost paid for another taxi without realising they had charged us 6. None of the facilities are free to use without a deposit. When you book to stay be prepared to pay for sun loungers, the gym, the pool……. 7. Our room was pretty far, it took about 15 minutes from the main bar to our rooms. 8. The check out was very long and painful and I used google translate to communicate with the staff as very few of them spoke English. 9. This really does reach far below a 4 star hotel. I’m sorry to say that the Staff at Tanka Village front desk needs to really change their mindset and be honest about the service they provide. Service with a smile would go such a long way. Take the time to share information with your new cus
