Villefranche Bayview: Charming central Apartment with Spectacular Views

Central Location and Great view! This apartment is exactly as pictured in the listing. For the Pros & Cons: PROs: Amazing View! The apartment has an amazing view and a nice little balcony to sit at and enjoy it. Great Location: The apartment is very centrally located across the street from the local market, a couple of doors down from a small grocery store and a short walking distance to the waterfront. Helpful Manager: The apartment manager was very responsive and helpful with our late check in and wi-fifi log in issues. CONs: Main Road: The apartment is located on the main road through Villefranche which could be noisy at some times of the day. No aircon: There was no aircon in the apartment so the bedroom was very hot at night even with the window open. There was a fan provided, but it was a bit noisy so may be a problem for light sleepers. Supply Uprgrades: The pillows on the bed were very flat and not comfortable. There were only two (very rough) large towels provided in the bathroom that had to double as beach and bath towels. There were also two hand towels provided which did not match the large towels. The kitchen had basic supplies, but only two wine glasses and water glasses that did not match each other. Overall, this is a nice basic apartment in a great location with a great view that would be good for short stays in Villefranche but could benefit from some slight upgrades.
