Het hotel is zeker een aanrader om op doorreis te gaan. Klantvriendelijk en goede service. Het eten is zeer lekker en een bewaakte privé parking. Ik kom hier in 2024 zeker terug.

Terrible nights sleep, don’t stay until they fit proper double glazing and sound proofing. I had one of my worst nights sleeps in any hotel here. I had a room at the front, noise from traffic (even though it’s a quiet road), noise from people walking by, and then the church bells! I am amazed it is allowed! Every hour they ring for the hour, at quarter past they ring again and then on the half hour yet again! All night long, there is no respite, it is like torture.

We needed a hotel the night before our trip to Efeteling, so this ticked all the boxes, as it was an easy short drive to the Theme Park. Fletcher Hotels never disappoint when we visit The Netherlands. The hotel easily exceeded our expectations. It's in a leafy, residential street in a pretty little town. The church bells from across the street though might get on your nerves a bit if you're trying to settle down for the night. We arrived during a "heatwave" and the lack of air conditioning in the room made for a somewhat sticky night. Parking is plentiful, either across the street or at the side of the hotel. There is a large 'Jumbo' supermarket at the end of the street (easy 10 min walk), which was a bonus so we could stock up and not be subjected to paying 'Theme Park prices' for snacks the following day! The grounds of the hotel are well kept and the hotel itself was clean, as was our room. It was nice to sit outside with some bar drinks. The bar itself was well stocked with some excellent beers at very reasonable prices. Staff are warm, welcoming and very hard working.

I have stayed at other fletcher hotels and the experience was a lot nicer than this. The food was nice, but due to Covid we had to have our meals in our room, so you would see food stains or soup split on the stairs. We had a room at the front of the building and the church bells woke us up every hour, all through the night. We asked to change rooms, they moved us to the back of the hotel so the bells were very faint, but you could hear the doors closing in the hallway. I would not recommend staying here if you want to get a good nights sleep.

Vandaag met de familie gegeten, de meeste dan.. Snottige tonijnsalade, slecht gefrituurde(!) schnitzels, droge kip en smakeloze kerrie. Erg lang gewacht op vervangend eten maar gewoon dezelfde zooi. Zonde van tijd en geld, nooit weer.

Das Personal war wenig kundenorientiert, für niederländische Verhältnisse könnte man es auch als Unfreundlichkeit bezeichnen. Das Hotel ist altbacken und im Badezimmer fehlte die nötige Sauberkeit. Das Frühstück war für das Gebotene viel zu teuer. Kinder zahlten den Erwachsenenpreis.
Positiv zu erwähnen bleibt die sehr gute Anbindung an den Freizeitpark Efteling. Also max. für eine Nacht ohne Frühstück zu empfehlen. Fußläufig ist ein Bäcker/Cafe zu erreichen.
