Hotel Restaurant Kirchsteiger

After Corona was over, we were finally able to book our preferred holiday “domicile” again. Great hospitality and service and for me (as a seafood lover) the Branzino on the first night was an anticipated highlight of our stay. However, the other evenings were in no way inferior. Unfortunately too short but we will be back - not a promise but a threat. Continued success with this concept and greetings from B&ECP

Excellent hotel with good service, food, rooms. The Hotel Restaurant Kirchsteiger in Völlan convinces with an all-round good service, the CUISINE is refined but also down-to-earth, regional and seasonal foods are always integrated. The ROOMS are newly renovated and offer a lot of comfort, the same goes for the new SPA (infrared, steam & finnish + whirlpool). Nice staff & owner.

Unfortunately a very big disappointment. When we arrived, the spread was already on the table and it must have been longer since the water had already settled. The bread must have been bought at Spar the day before. In restaurants with such prices, you usually get homemade bread with delicious fresh spreads in South Tyrol! Afterwards there was only a fixed menu for 85€ (with wine accompaniment +35€). The quality of the products should look completely different at such a proud price. For a restaurant with such prices, I expect a beautifully prepared plate, since I can get much nicer dishes presented in any other restaurant for half the price. We didn't eat the full menu and still had to pay €85 per head (+ drinks). The staff was clearly not professional. There are so many excellent restaurants in South Tyrol. Restaurants with fair prices, restaurants with high quality and restaurants with incredibly delicious food. It's very brave to run a restaurant like this with so much competition. (if I can even call other restaurants competition)

We always like to come back to the Kirchsteiger restaurant in Völlan, especially on Valentine's Day. The fixed menu is the finest, lobster from Brittany, pasta hearts with black truffle, veal fillet with ****akee mushrooms, just to name a few. And at a very reasonable price. Chef Christian is 1 star Michelin! Not to mention the wine selection, one of the best in South Tyrol, highly recommended by Madame Lenka, owner and sommelier. There are many restaurants in South Tyrol, but the Kirchsteiger has that certain something. Only recommended.

Fine Anno ottimo ! Grande ospitalità da parte della famiglia, Cibo di qualità cucinato con maestria, camere pulite e accoglienti. Tutto molto bene albergo piccolo ma gestito al meglio. Rapporto qualità prezzo top. Torneremo sicuramente

Mancavamo da un po' di tempo, ma come sempre ci siamo trovati benissimo, tutti i piatti veramente ottimi sia alla vista che al palato, il servizio accurato e professionale, complimenti al giovane cameriere veramente bravo e professionale. A presto Raffaella

Was für eine herzliche Wirtin, die jeden Tag mit uns Touristen ringen muß und trotzdem ihren Glauben an die Menschen behält. Die Küche ist großartig, bodenständig, phantasievoll, köstlich, frisch, lokal, einfach lecker. Auch für Vegetarier wird viel geboten, nicht allein das Fleisch weggelassen. Unsere Unterkunft war ein Träumchen, vielleicht das schönste Badezimmer ohne Tinnef, das ich je gesehen habe.
