We had a marvellous stay and the staff were wonderful and very accomodating, especially Ellie. The food was excellent with an extensive menu. The rooms were of a good standard. The swimming pool needs a little TLC. We would definitely return because we had a super time.

A delightful property in an idyllic setting amongst the vines and just a short distance from SG. Our room was very well presented. A mini fridge would have been really useful if just for milk and water. Maria and Sara were welcoming, friendly and helpful Here’s the view from our door.

Superb location! Wonderful panoramic views! Welcoming staff but not very informative. We did not know about pool towels until the end of our stay. Also not clear as to food options at breakfast for baby and dietary requirements for a Coeliac client. Omelettes were available apparently ? Very disappointed with the half board food options for our party - 3 pasta options for starters with no chicken/ vegetarian or fish main course options available. Should have gone for A la carte menu in retrospect. Pool fantastic but not well maintained or easily accessible with broken paving and no white lines denoting steps. Feel the overall experience for the proximity to the Bocelli concert was wonderful but felt the attention to detail was sadly lacking. We had no kettle or tea making facilities and no glasses or even a welcome drink and a daily water bottle in the fridge would have been very much appreciated. Due to the remote situation it meant we had to stock up on essential water and fruit juices and snacks etc to prevent dehydration and it felt almost viable for the owners to have their own shop with ice creams, drinks and snacks to enhance the experience. We had to ask for everything- which was a shame as we had a wonderful time in a beautiful location and the staff were helpful and friendly but too busy to give a good efficient service.

What a special experience. The views , the food , the staff. We are beyond words. What a wonderful way to end a day touring in the area. Special shout out to Marco and his wife. Wish we could stay longer.

Views forever including Volterra on the hill. Everything seemed home made and home oriented. They did some laundry after many days on the road. Much appreciated. After the noise and hassle of Florence, this was such a relief. Italy at its finest.

I booked a superior triple room (3 adults). It was too small for three adults (see photo), we have no place to leave things. Poor bathroom facilities. At the end of the stay, I commented to the front desk person that the room we had did not correspond to a superior triple (we had a folding bed). She told me that it was considered superior superior because the terrace (exit to a common open space with other rooms). Finally the receptionist told us that the room price would be € 164/night instead of the initial € 179. Due to this change, there was an error in favor of the hotel in making the payment, they did not discount me the payment I had already made when making the reservation. I claimed the amount they owed me several times but none of the emails I sent were answered. They were left with some money that was mine (160€). The worst experience I have ever had!.

Location con un panorama meraviglioso. Struttura accogliente. La piscina, uno dei principali punti di forza, a sfioro sulla campagna toscana, vista splendida su Volterra. Cucina ottima. I proprietari e il personale gentilissimi, Giulia la proprietaria sempre disponibile. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo

Ho alloggiato un giorno e una notte con mio marito e il nostro cane. Struttura molto bella,stanza pulitissima, vista mozzafiato e personale gentilissimo e professionale. Cibo ottimo. Unica pecca: nel bagno della nostra stanza non c’era il bidet. Spero, qualora dovessi tornare, che ci sia e ci assegnino una camera dove sia presente.
