It is a wonderful place to visit, the hotel has very beautiful views, the breakfast is excellent, all made by them. The most notable thing that made our experience wonderful was Luca, who gave us all the necessary information and excellent service with great kindness! I will definitely return ✨

An excellent stay with best breakfast ever. Lucca the host is so helpful with things to do not only in Volterra but all the places in Tuscany. A very comfortable stay and you feel welcomed with delicious coffee and home made cakes to greet you in the morning.

Great host and the best breakfast in the world! Not only home made but the host describes the ingredients and cooking method. The selection is amazing and different every day. Although a little outside Volterra town (5 minutes in car) bus stops outside hotel. Large clean outdoor swimming pool and lounging area. Comfortable rooms with wide range of pillow types on offer. The host is just so knowledgeable about all things touristy in the surrounding areas and so helpful at passing on his knowledge. Volterra is a lovely hill town with plenty to see before you are attracted to any of his other attractions.

We couldn't have found a morr perfect place to explore Tuscany for 5 wonderful days, then come back late afternoon for a swim in the pool. The room, grounds, service, gourmet breakfasts were far beyond expectation! I highly recommend enhancing your trip to Tuscany by booking at Villa Rioddi. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️‼️

Hotel Villa Rioddi was the perfect base for our Tuscan adventure. Having a welcoming host like Luga with many excellent local recommendations truly enhanced our experience. And the delicious breakfasts were extraordinary. Also enjoyed the beautiful pool. We would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting the Volterra area.

Wonderful setting overlooking Tuscan countryside. Nothing is too much trouble and owner even dropped us off in town . Breakfast is all homemade and vast daily selection of freshly baked cakes and delicious savoury tarts . Lovely non chlorinated pool set in a pretty garden with plenty of seating. Large room on 1 first floor with huge private terrace.

I based my booking on reviews I had read and they were spot on. The hotel was excellent. Everyone was friendly and welcoming from the owner Luca to the lovely cleaners. The hotel was spotless and our room was an apartment with its own balcony. The apartment was well equipped with everything provided for us to cook if we chose to. Luca provided us with extensive information about where to visit, where to have dinner and much more. The breakfasts were fabulous. Luca’s wife baked her own cakes every day and there were always four different ones to choose from. The cooked part of the breakfast was different every day and there was always cheeses, salads, cereals, fruit, salamis and a variety of homemade delicious breads and pastries. There were also fruit juices and waters on tap plus the most delicious made to order coffees. We could not have been happier and would definitely recommend and visit again if in the area. The hotel was outside the city walls and although we could walk to Volterra it would have been up and down a very steep hill and take at least half an hour. We had hired a car so it was perfect and there were places to park free for the whole day.

An amazingly beautiful place to stay. Check in was fabulous, gave thorough information of the town, parking and restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was plentiful and he explained every item and cake that was available which was all delicious. Pool a little chilly but it was September but beautiful gardens and setting.

I just cannot say enough of this place I loved so much. Luca and his family were so nice, friendly, helpful, their breakfast is like having a breakfast in Heaven. Everything was local, fresh, and very delicious. I got a picture from the top of Volterra to the Villa and it looks like a fairytale. One morning after breakfast, we just sat and relaxed around the pool, our kids played, and it was like being in Paradise surrounding of many white butterflies, many beautiful trees, olives, figs, pomegranates…. So, so beautiful!! I’m so grateful for this wonderful service and for making our 20 wedding anniversary so special. I’ll never forget this beautiful place. Thank you again Luca and family.
