Our family trip to The St. Regis Maldives was truly a dream come true. Since we were traveling with our 7-year-old daughter, we were a bit worried at first, but the resort’s thoughtful service and warm hospitality made our stay absolutely perfect from start to finish. We stayed in a Sunset Overwater Villa, and it was simply breathtaking. The deck led directly into the ocean, allowing us to swim together and watch colorful fish and coral right in front of us. We even encountered turtles, sharks, and several kinds of rays — such a rare and unforgettable experience! At night, we lay on the hammock gazing at a sky full of stars — it was magical and peaceful. The Kids Club team was incredibly kind and caring, and our daughter wanted to go there every single day. Activities like coconut painting, jellyfish crafting, and treasure hunting became special memories for her. While she enjoyed those moments, Mom and Dad had some quiet time at the spa, relaxing while looking out over the ocean. The butler service was outstanding. Our butler Abanoub took care of every little detail — our schedule, dining, and activities — with genuine kindness and professionalism. We truly appreciated his warm heart and dedication throughout our stay. The food was also exceptional. We loved dining at ALBA, Orientale, Crust & Craft, and T-Pan — each restaurant offered unique and delicious dishes. The kids’ menu was well-prepared, and every meal during our seven-night stay was delightful. Watching the stunning sunset and the sabrage ceremony at The Whale Bar was another highlight of our trip. All the restaurant staff were always friendly and attentive, making every dining experience even more enjoyable. On our departure day, our daughter said, “Let’s come back to the Maldives again!” She even shed tears before and after the seaplane ride because she didn’t want to leave It was the perfect resort for families, and especially wonderful for children. We can’t wait to return again someday.

My wife and I recently took an anniversary trip to the St. Regis Maldives and it was simply perfect! From the time we landed down in Male, Maldives, everything was perfect and taken care of for us. The sea plane brought us to the Maldives Vommuli Resort, and the start of the most spectacular vacation we have ever taken was underway. We had Haroon as our Personal Butler, and he literally had ESP. things were taken care of before we could ask. He was simply awesome!! I am a Lifetime Titanium with Marriott and Current Ambassador, and was treated so well! Because it was a special anniversary, I purchased the St. Regis Suite, however there is only one sunset SRS Bungalow. Nagi, the resort manager ensured we received the sunset bungalow, and also ensured everything was PERFECT! They do their best to ensure that they greet Bonvoy members with upgrades, however with such a special trip I would recommend not penny pinching. Get what you want, it is worth it!!! you will not be disappointed! Our day started with breakfast. We have stayed at several world renown resorts with fantastic buffets, however this was next level! Each day we enjoyed the marvelous buffet, and we would also share either have a lobster crab omelette or a goat cheese truffle omelette and then either one of their special crepes, French toast, or waffles. They also had Indian, Maldivian and Asian food and some spectacular fresh fruit! The whole staff is amazing. They are all so caring and friendly, and we got to know several of them well. We ate several meals at Alba, which is fantastic, as my wife does not eat much asian food. We got to know Dian, the restaurant manager as well as Sam, Mousim, Shaman and Raja the su Chef . Everyone was amazing! They had an "Indian burger" made for us our last night, and the staff came back with a chocolate cake and a we will "miss you" message. Very well done! It is always a barometer of how good service will be by gauging how happy the staff is. The best service I have experienced at a resort! The St Regis is toward the south western portion of the Maldives atolls, so the sunsets were looking over the ocean, with Africa the next closest land mass over 3,000 miles away. The views are breathtaking! Our bungalow was also VERY private, and allowed for us to really relax and enjoy the outside space. We were there for 8 days, and we did not go to the beach, we enjoyed the bungalow's deck space, the hammocks on the front, and the steps and platform down to the house reef. We were supplied snorkeling gear for the week, and we snorkeled multiple times a day, and also took several dips in the ocean to cool off. The overwater bungalow is on the house reef, so it is fairly shallow, maybe 5 feet. Swimming out 20 yards, you were at the edge of the reef, and could see a sharp drop off of 100+ feet. We saw a number of sharks, and millions of beautiful fish. There were times where we would literally be swimming in a school of fish with h

The most memorable stay at the St. Regis Vonmüller Resort Maldives. We celebrated our 50th birthday, so many options to pick from, but this was definitely the right choice. A very nice welcome after customs at Male Airport. We did not have to wait more than 15 minutes to board our seaplane flight to the resort. A very warm welcome by our amazing butler, Akram. He made our stay very special and was always checking on us to make sure we were taken care of. Our beautiful over-the-water bungalow was everything. The room was exceptionally well kept by our roomkeeper. At the buffet breakfast, we made the sweetest friends ever. Sam is the star of the show. But everyone is so kind, so effortlessly attentive, so welcoming: Dina, Anisa, Bem (Celeste), Novi, and Pina. The cargo restaurant was our favorite. Naifu welcomed us with a big smile the two nights we had dinner there (feet on the sand). Mustafa, the chef, has a magic touch for sure. His meals are a delight. He will make sure you go to your room happily, well-fed. Zel at the beach bar was always so kind. Very few luxury hotels have mastered such a great staff. No doubt everyone will do anything they can to please you. It makes a huge difference to have that personal touch in such a remote, unique place.

However, what elevates the St. Regis Maldives beyond just its stunning location is the unparalleled level of service we experienced. From the moment we stepped off the plane in Malé, a friendly St. Regis staff member was there to greet us and seamlessly handle all the logistics of our transfer to the seaplane. This immediate attention to detail set the tone for our entire stay. Throughout our time on the island, we were consistently impressed by the staff's genuine care and their proactive approach to ensuring we had an unforgettable vacation. It wasn't just about fulfilling requests; it was the thoughtful, often unprompted, gestures that truly made the difference. Our butler, Hussain, was an absolute standout. He effortlessly managed everything from dinner reservations and spa appointments to arranging buggy transportation around the expansive resort. What truly impressed us was his incredible thoughtfulness and resourcefulness. For instance, when my wife unfortunately broke her sunglasses early in our trip (a crucial item in the bright Maldivian sun!), Hussain appeared with superglue in under five minutes – a small act that saved the day. Later, when my wife mentioned running out of hairpins, Hussain went above and beyond by sourcing some from Malé and having them delivered the next day. He was always available, full of helpful tips for maximizing our time on the island, and genuinely cared about making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Our overwater villa was a true sanctuary. It was incredibly spacious, beautifully appointed with luxurious amenities, and offered stunning views. Our villa attendant, Jailam, deserves special mention. He not only kept our villa impeccably clean and organized with twice-daily service but also added delightful personal touches. We looked forward to his creative towel animals that appeared on our bed each day, and the personalized notes he left were always a lovely surprise. The snorkeling right from our villa deck was surprisingly vibrant, and we even had the magical experience of watching pods of dolphins jumping in the crystal-clear water just outside our doorstep on several occasions. Dining at the St. Regis was consistently a pleasure. The resort's restaurants not only offered a diverse range of delicious cuisines but also demonstrated exceptional flexibility and care in accommodating our gluten and dairy intolerances. The chefs were often willing to prepare dishes from scratch or make thoughtful substitutions to ensure we didn't feel limited in our choices. A particular highlight was at Alba, where they managed to create the most incredible gluten-free and dairy-free waffles we have ever tasted! We stayed at the resort for 6 days, it was one of the most memorable vacation! Our butler Hameez, made it extra special for us by always going the extra mile. Special mention of Shiraz, we would wait for his hand written notes on Glass around the room!

Our honeymoon at the St. Regis Maldives was an absolutely flawless and unforgettable experience. This resort truly deserves its five-star rating. From the immaculate accommodations to the exceptional staff who anticipated our every need, every detail was perfection. The culinary offerings were superb, with T-Pan being a particular highlight, and the spa provided a truly rejuvenating escape. We also enjoyed the wide array of water activities. A special thank you to our butler, Mina, whose incredibly prompt and attentive service ensured our stay was nothing short of perfect.

We spent a total of six days at The St. Regis Maldives, and from the very beginning, we were greeted with the attentive service of Ms. Unoo and Mr. Zayaan during our airport transfer. They accompanied us all the way to the seaplane (and even escorted us into the airport upon departure, demonstrating exceptional care). Upon arrival at the resort, we were warmly welcomed by our butler, Abanoub, who thoughtfully arranged all our dining and activities on the island with remarkable confidence, sincerity, and friendliness. He perfectly coordinated every single day of our stay. Whenever we needed a buggy, he would arrive within five minutes. He also kindly arranged special surprises for our anniversary and even prepared sweet treats for our daughter, showing incredible attentiveness. When it was time to say goodbye, we were truly reluctant to part ways. Additionally, our villa attendant, Ibrahim, was outstanding. Throughout the six days, our villa remained impeccably clean, and his turndown service was equally considerate—he meticulously organized our scattered belongings and always maintained a warm and friendly attitude. As for dining, our favorite was Alba Restaurant, where the Arabic and Indian dishes were absolutely delicious. The St. Regis Maldives provided us with a perfect and unforgettable holiday, and we truly hope to return someday.

It was great stay, the property is nice, but the service is un unbeatable, all details are carefully organized. All the staff was well trained, with special focus in make us feel good. Our butler Mena was fantastic, he was taking care of everything, was always aware and willing to make us as much comfortable. Not doubt we’ll be back.

Our butler was attentive, professional, and genuinely kind, making sure every moment of our stay was perfect. Thanks to their care, we were able to relax completely and enjoy every detail of our honeymoon. It was truly a happy and unforgettable honeymoon, and we would love to return one day.
