Vomo Island Resort

We stayed in Nadi for five days with a local charity organization before we arrived at VOMO Island to relax. The resort absolutely breath taking. We stayed in an overwater bungalow last year in Bora Bora - which we thought could not be outdone - but we felt this experience was on par with that one. It felt like staying on your own private island. The restaurants, beach, and pool area were never crowded, yet staff were everywhere to make sure your stay was unforgettable. The two bedroom villa was perfect for my husband and I traveling with a teenager. We rarely left our back patio or hammock -which were steps to the beach- except to visit the restaurants. Everything we ate was beyond delicious. I can't say enough good things about Vomo Island. I hope to visit again in the future.

Great for family especially with kids. Super big kids club with indoor aircon room or outdoor playground. Kids club offering different activities every single day, start from 9 am until 9 pm. And boys love the kids club soooo much. Adults activities are on the full daily list from fishing diving snorkelling etc. And lunch picnic on the sister island are full joy with privacy, staff from ocean play will go there early to set up beach with day bed, snorkeling gears, lovely staff Kesa even brought Kayak to the island for us too. Whenever your flight is, the whole team will organise the smooth transport from Nadi airport to your room. Thanks Beautiful Team, Xx

There are so many wonderful things about this resort that it is difficult to describe them all. We were a group of a mom and two young adult daughters, and the staff without exception made us feel welcome and comfortable. Everyone we encountered was friendly and exceptionally accommodating. The grounds are very well maintained. Our villa was spotless and spacious. The food was very good, and the menus changed daily. It was relatively easy to get here from the US. The island itself is magical because you can walk into the water at several different places and be swimming in what feels like an aquarium. We saw turtles, sharks, fat bright blue starfish, and all kinds of colorful fish. And despite having a high occupancy, no where felt crowded. The morning I hiked to the yoga deck for sunrise I was alone. The resort is very child-friendly, but there are plenty of places to go to be away from children. The adult-only pool is marvelous, as are the restaurant and bar there. The staff at Ocean Play was like all the other staff, friendly and helpful, and the activities there (snorkeling, paddle boarding, etc) are well organized. The only negative thing I can say is that the excursion I booked to the caves where Blue Lagoon was filmed is not worth the time and money, but I think that is really my fault for not asking enough questions. The caves are cool, but considering the time and cost, I chose poorly. We did stop on the way back to swim with the reef sharks and saw two schools of tiny squid, so it wasn’t terrible. This is a very special place for a memorable vacation.

Spent a relaxing week at Vomo island with our 2 children (7 and 9 years of age). The children’s adventure island club was staffed with very friendly locals who took great care of the kids and ensured they were kept busy. Activities changed daily from snorkeling and grass skirt making to dancing and beach picnics. As a result, we as parents, were quite comfortable leaving our kids with their activities so that we could partake in golf, massages, and swimming in the adults only pool before eating at the adults only restaurant. The menu at both restaurants changed daily and was very tasty. We cannot wait to return with friends and book a private residence which comes with a pool and butler service.

This is our third trip to a resort on one of Fiji's outer islands. We spent 4 nights at VOMO Island Resort in early October 2024. Crystal clear waters, clear blue skies, and pristine white sands! The Boat Transfer and Check-in: Although our boat transfer was significantly delayed, the staff from VOMO at Vuda Marina made excellent arrangements for us. We were able to enjoy meals at nearby restaurants and indulge in any food and drinks, including ice cream, from the shops around. Ocean Play: Snorkelling, Freediving and Scuba Diving: GREETINGS from the ocean floor! The best spot is just under VOMO Lailai!!! You'd be surprised at the wonders VOMO Lailai house reef has in store for you. With the house reef rich in vibrant marine life at VOMO Lailai, you are assured to discover something or someone new every day during your casual snorkelling. We have encountered all kinds of marine animals, Sea turtle, Anemonefish such as Tomato Clownfish and Clarks Clownfish; Blacktip and Whitetip sharks; Groupers; Trevally; Butterflyfish; Angelfish; Hawkfish; Surgeonfish; Triggerfish; Pufferfish; Boxfish; Unicornfish; Hind; Parrotfish; Sweetlips and Moorish Idol. Hannah Quigley, the Dive Manager, went above and beyond to address all our needs during our stay. Her respectful and attentive demeanour truly enhanced our experience at VOMO. The memories we created were even more special thanks to her prompt responses and her dedication to ensuring we had everything we requested. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for her outstanding service. The experience of the daily snorkel safari was excellent; both the captain and the dive guide were very professional. BEACHFRONT VILLA #12 It had breathtaking panoramic ocean view and the seating area outside the room was spacious. We have found the perfect spot to relax while listening to the lapping waves. Lying in the beach hammock and spend away the mid-summer noon with your loved ones. Let yourself be treated to unparalleled panache and a dream filled thought made a reality only at VOMO. The Vuda Reef Restaurant and Vuda Bar: We were spoiled for choices at all-day. This is for a culinary experience worth cherishing for years. The breakfasts can be as blissful as it seems. Each dish served for both lunch and dinner are exquisite and delectable you can order whatever on the menu. Desserts are fabulous not to mention the extensive beverage selection served all day at Vuda Bar. Birthday Celebration We celebrated Lucy's birthday on the morning of our checkout day at The Reef Restaurant. The service team sang a birthday song and provided a beautiful chocolate cake. Wonderful holiday and accommodation. Food was good but not as good as Six Senses Fiji. The gym was inadequate with 1 treadmill. No ice baths, sauna etc. Vomo Spa treatments were excellent. We had a butler assigned to us and he was great. Nanny also very nice and capable.
