The Hotel Les Saules is a wonderful hotel that is a must for that trip away for any reason. The staff are personable and welcoming; very professional. Vonnas is this beautiful little town in France that is a hot bed of culinary excellence and the gem of the hospitality industry.
Our room was lovely and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and well thought out. Our room looked out over the square of the town which also served as the parking lot for everything, yet it was part of the park. We had a balcony where you could order breakfast, but don't do that. Go to the breakfast they have at their neighboring restaurant. It must be a training ground for the next set of Michelin star chefs. The food was beyond amazing. It was not overpriced and worth every penny that you pay. Everything is fresh and delicious. NOTE: Make reservations in their restaurant in advance especially during the summer season. There are two types of services: the restaurant and the Food Tasting Menu. The restaurant is ala carte and the Food Tasting Menu is expensive, but if you are a foodie, this is your moment of joy. RESERVATIONS for either are a must.
Everything is close by and quaint. Definitely a highlight of our stays.

Having stayed several times at Vannos and thoroughly enjoyed the experience this was a disappointment. There were no amenities in the bathroom such as shower cap, moisturiser etc.

The main reason to stay at this Hotel is to visit "Village Blanc" and experience the fabulous cuisine of the 3 stars Chef, Mr. George Blanc. The hotel Les Saules is clean, well maintained. The rooms are well appointed, comfortable and very clean as well. The only critic is the very inefficient AC that could not be improved during our stay. Fortunately the weather was cool and we left the window open most of our stay. The hotel is perfectly located at walking distance from both of Mr. Blanc's restaurants. If you intend to dine at Georges Blanc's gastronomic restaurant, I would definitively recommend to stay either at the 5 stars hotel (a little pricy) or at Les Saules. We spent 4 nights at Les Saules and had 4 marvelous and unforgettable dinners between the gastronomic 3 stars restaurant and the more casual "Vieille Auberge".... wish we could stay longer.

This place is wonderful. Friendly atmosphere and excellent facilities with some of the finest food anywhere in the world. We felt welcome and relaxed from the moment we arrived. Difficult to think of any aspect that could be improved.

Retour à Vonnas après de nombreuses années. On n’a pas été déçu. Joli bâtiment en face du restaurant 3 étoiles sur la belle Place du Marché. Beau décor, literie impeccable, chambre spacieuse avec balcon. Stationnement public disponible. Je reviendrai sans hésitation.

Malgré une décoration un peu vieillissante mais toujours tenu de manière impeccable, les établissements Georges Blanc restent partis les meilleurs, tout particulièrement le restaurant gastronomique. Bravo à toute l'équipe!!

Ma fille et moi avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel, dans ce lieu tout simplement. Tout y est reposant, accueillant, une excellente cuisine. Nous avons profité du spa, de la salle de cinéma, du jardin .... des boutiques également. Et puis en souvenir, une photo sur le banc BLANC avec ma fille ! Je pense y revenir un jour en mémoire de mon mari qui m'avait offert ce merveilleux cadeau d'anniversaire et qui malheureusement n'a pas pu m'accompagner ayant quitté ce monde entre temps. MERCI
