My husband and I had the most incredible experience at Hotel Theresia. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Maria, whose warmth and hospitality instantly made us feel welcome and cared for. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, and her kindness truly set the tone for the entire trip. Our room was stunning, immaculately clean, beautifully designed, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true retreat. Every detail of our stay was handled with care, and we were constantly impressed by the level of service and attention. Maria truly set the bar for hospitality. When I say this resort has lived rent free in my mind since our stay with them in July 2024, believe it! I joke with my friends about “Sicily shoulders” which are shoulders so relaxed they are so far from my ears. The 2 Michelin Star restaurants, the private beach, the Infinity pool, the sunset over the island - everything contributed to such a magical stay.

The property itself is very good - as it should be since it is 5 star - but the service and food were very disappointing. It was the last week before the winter wind down and the restaurant staff may have been the spa staff filling in. Service at breakfast was particularly poor. We do not expect fawning staff but we feel entitled to a smile rather than a miserable face, someone who can pour water from a bottle into a glass rather than onto the table (without clearing it up !) and not having to wait 15 minutes for tea which consisted merely of a pot of hot water and a collection of teabags. We were lucky, the wait for coffee was 20 minutes. At dinner, the main course arrived without the vegetables which had been asked for, we were not asked if we wanted coffee, and the table was finally cleared in a manner which left us in no doubt that they needed to set for breakfast. 5 star prices (a glass of very ordinary wine for 15 euros) with 2 or 3 star service. I don't blame the staff, they were just untrained and unsupervised.

We spent a chill week at this beautiful resort in May, 2025, and cannot say enough good things about the professionalism of the staff and the on-site amenities. Our room was comfortable, the pool area was amazingly peaceful and the meals were top-notch. We were especially impressed by the chefs and sommeliers who steered us right at every turn. There is no need to leave the resort for a meal. In fact, the one night we did so, we came away disappointed. Therasia has it all.

Absolutely fabulous in every way possible. Every detail was attended to, and we felt so taken care of and pampered the whole time. The staff were nothing short of amazing - friendly, helpful, communicative. I would highly recommend this resort, and I certainly hope to visit again in the future. The setting is one of most beautiful I have seen!

Our stay was absolute luxury from start to finish. The whole family, ranging in age from 1-70, loved the many beautiful pools, each offering something special for kids and adults alike. The adults especially enjoyed the two Michelin-starred restaurants—every meal was unforgettable. Our room was exceptionally spacious, and the private balcony was a perfect spot to relax. We loved it and hope to be back soon!
