A Last Minute Booking What a Find! so pleasantly surprised - stunning location overlooking Akaroa, surrounded by Nature, a sloped property means stunning views from most of the site perhaps. Travelling in mid Spring and mid week, meant not alot of travellers about which suited me :). The 'walking track' down to the town looked inviting but I needed SLEEP so opted out of the Walk About.... perhaps next time. The Staff added to the Welcoming feel of the place - friendly, patient, clear with their instructions - this being my first camp ground experience in a semi-contained vehicle - such funn!! Kana's extra hints for local driving experience added so much to my trip!! I took her advice and travelled the 'scenic' route back to Castle Hill the following day - take the time to do the short walks which are clearly marked with plenty of parking.... also picked up freshly picked asparagus and agria on the drive out of Banks Peninsula!! A Special Place!

This was a quick overnight stay, on a long weekend in a campervan – with zipped over from Christchurch, and arrived in Akaroa pretty late. Friendly staff, Great facilities, highly recommended
