Clean, looks antique yet the facilities are very modern. Warm enough for about 0 degree weather. Nice and comfort stay for all ages from child to elderly. Cooking utensils are well equipped that would be very sufficient for self cooking breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended.

Visiting this hotel was an incredible experience, and I was utterly captivated by the breathtaking views it offered. The property features both an indoor and an outdoor hot tub, and I must say, the outdoor hot tub is particularly special, providing a stunning backdrop for relaxation. Each morning, I looked forward to a delightful buffet breakfast that exceeded my expectations; the selection was diverse and delicious, ensuring a great start to my day.
The hotel rooms were meticulously maintained, providing a clean and comfortable environment that made my stay even more enjoyable. Location-wise, it couldn't be better situated—nestled right next to the train station, making it easily accessible for travelers. Additionally, there’s a mall adjacent to the hotel, along with a charming bookstore, offering plenty of options for shopping and leisure. Overall, this hotel truly impressed me with its amenities, cleanliness, and prime location!

The hotel is situated at a secluded corner of Wakayama prefecture. It is much preferable to drive here rather than relying on the infrequent hotel shuttle. Public transport is otherwise non existent.
There are no restaurants around the hotel. However the hotel provides delicious meals with abundant fresh seafood. The in room dining experience is superb. The hotel staff service is impeccable.
The room has a spectacular sea view allowing you to see the sunset on clear days. The onsen also faces the sea which provides a relaxing experience.
A downside is that the hotel does not seem to sanitize the slippers for indoor use. All hotel guests had to change to their slippers to access their indoor facilities.

Fedor VasilevThis hotel is conveniently located just minutes away from the Wakayama train station. It has very good value for money. We stayed in a japanese style room. It had everything we needed and it was also pretty clean. Overall, I would happily stay here once more, if I ever were to go to Wakayama again

Guest UserSecond stay, as I moved to a non smoking room. The mattress in this room was spring and not as good as my other room but it was ok.
As I said in my other review, good products, good stay, it's not modern but it's comfortable. Very close to the station and food options within 5-10 minutes walk. Very helpful staff.

#Praise#For mosquito control measures, hotel smell, bedding comfort, location, toiletries, room lighting satisfaction; I like this hotel so much! It is also an ideal hotel! The so-called ideal is that every aspect is very practical! Although there is no breakfast, there is a refrigerator microwave in the room. It is very convenient to buy and eat at the nearby convenience store supermarket. The room is large and the bathroom is large, and the toiletries are complete to even the curling stick! The kettle said that the insulation can be kept warm for one night, not to mention that it is so cheap not far from the station! I will only live here on the West Line in the future. ps: This ideal hotel comes from a 40-generation hotel that has lived in various large and small Japanese hotels in a variety of sizes and sizes. Lightning avoidance and mentioning that this store has no elevator, large boxes of passengers should be cautious.

I had planned to go to the Expo, but Osaka city is expensive, and I'd never been to Wakayama, so I chose this hotel near Wakayamashi Station with the intention of exploring Wakayama Castle.
All the amenities were provided, but it was a shame that there were no slippers. There was also coffee and a water server in the lobby.
The building is a bit old, but for the price and quality, I guess that's understandable.
I would recommend this hotel for anyone mainly planning on sightseeing.

Guest UserThe location is easy to find, at the intersection, there are also convenience stores and restaurants nearby.
The beds in mixed rooms are similar to those in capsule hotels, with acceptable hygiene and less shared space. Each person has his or her own locker, which makes you feel more at ease when going out.
The self check-in machine was a bit difficult to use and required the owner to come back to help.
