The Brooks Hotel Restaurant and Lounge

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable but not super clean. The updates look so good!! The hard wood stairs are loud but they look great. Would definitely recommend staying here. Great distance to everything.

Family owned and absolutely stunning! My Husband and I stayed in the Madam Suite for his Birthday! We ate at a amazing Italian restaurant called Blackboard and then walked to a bar called Albertini's gem bar. Great ambiance and live acoustic guitar. He didn't want to leave. Highly recommend!

This is an older hotel building where the entire town is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The common areas and hallways are currently receiving some much-needed renovations but the rooms themselves are quite nice. Everything was clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable with crisp linens. The price for the room was quite reasonable. The highlight of this hotel was the service. Everyone was super friendly and helped. The desk clerk was great as well as the waitresses in the Brooks Restaurant where we had dinner after our arrival and breakfast the next morning. After dinner I noticed a hot cocoa machine on the way out. That sounded great because the weather had turned quite cold. I was surprised to learn it was free because we were guests in the hotel. A very pleasant experience overall.

An historic hotel in an historic town. We only stayed one night, but I'd like to stay longer and explore the area. Staff was friendly and location was in the middle of town.

We stayed in a triple room (girls trip). The room was clean, comfortable and offered the convenience of being able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in Wallace. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back!

Clean with friendly staff. Had a problem with the air conditioner and they came right away to fix it.

Off the start, the evening clerk has the opinion that only the Guests are in the wrong! I reserved "Accessible" rooms, but upon arrival all available was up the stairs on the second floor. Instead of working with my party to accomodate, we were met with the you can always go somewhere else attitude! True, but we were a late checkin and the elders in my party were tired. The next day, after following the direction of the Maid Service placquard asking for the room to be made up; then coming back to the room late in the day to discover that nothing had been serviced not even towels or tissue being refilled I went to the same clerk again to advise of the lack of service and if I could acquire supplies I was met with the comment "Well you must not have left the request on the door then". I informed her I most certainly did. At which the comeback was "Well, they must not have seen it". I knew better, the placquard was hanging back inside the room on the doorknob! When I advised her of such, then it was my fault-"You must have just thought you put it out". Before escalation, I just asked for the towels and tissue. For the price we had to pay per night to stay, we expected a little better service. On another issue, the bathroom was so narrow-the tissue paper holders need to be replaced with something that doesnt have the large metal cover that sticks out so far as to attack the thigh areas coming and going. Everyone was bruised. Just a suggestion.

From self check-in to breakfast in the restaurant, my whole experience here was 10/10. Clean, convenient, kind, and quiet: will stay here again!!

Room 102 was extremely warm and stuffy. Front desk turned heat down from 68 to 64, and gave us a fan. It only helped a tiny bit. Ground floor and window doesn’t open. It was difficult to sleep. In summer months, on sun setting side, the heat should not be on. Staff did what they could, but made for an uncomfortable night. Still love the town and will come back.
