Accommodation spacious and rooms very clean. Chalets are private and no outside noises could be heard. Breakfast was acceptable. Staff friendly and very helpful. I'll definitely book a future stay at Lagoon Chalets.

Most will stay in better developed/equipped Swakopmund 30 minutes up the road, but I really enjoyed Walvis Bay because it was loaded with birds, most notable flamingos. The campsite is in the middle of a residential neighborhood, but it was surprisingly silent all night. Sites are close together but are effectively separated by palm/bamboo barriers. The restroom and showers were fantastic: clean, spacious, and well-lit. There is also a big outdoor sink for campers to do dishes. The staff were friendly, and the on-property restaurant (open until 9pm) has a very extensive menu and is a generally nice place to hang out in the evening. I recommend the Dolphin Cafe at the north end of town for breakfast.

The place is situated away from the busy town life very quiet. The staff is super friendly. The check in was quick and with ease. Belinda the reception lady is always reet in you with a smile and the rooms is perfect and clean

If you are driving a long road trip, this place is good for your stop in Walvis Bay. Lagoon Chalets is located far into the city, not far from the sea. It is maybe not the coziest campsite in Namibia, but it does the job propely, with good showers/abolution area and a convenient braai place. Check-in was smooth, but not sure if "all" guests are welcome here - as we were asked nicely to change room type. All in all a good campsite for that road tripping couple/friends, close proximity to the sea (where you can see the nice flamingoes).

Camping on the hard - No Dust or Sand! Absolutely Wonderful ! Great facilities, clean and lots of hot water. There is also a laundry which was most appreciated. Staff were great and more then helpful.

keep up the great work , my family enjoyed the stay. i will definitely recommend to other interested visitors wanting to visit walvisbay, the place is neat, cutlery and crockery is up to standard, fluffy beads and linen, however you could improve on towels . they are abit old.

There were cockroaches and alot of ants, the shower was leaking. Other self catering places atleast have coffee, tea & sugar. Nonetheless, it was a good stay. Hot water, enough cutlery, great security service (opened the gate on time) and very safe.

Holiday weekend trip The rooms had no air conditioning as the result the sleep was kind of disturbed There is only one plug slot No charging points in the room And ironing but nonetheless overall It’s a best place to stay

I was worried as we were booked into what they called back packer rooms. But they were great! was a normal nice guest room. I suggested they replace the name with guest rooms. It was far better than I expected. Great place.... Worth it...
